Abstract
INDONESIA:
Dunia pendidikan di Indonesia sedang dihadapai dengan berbagai macam masalah yang menghampiri. Salah satunya yang cukup ramai menjadi bahan perbincangan adalah kasus kekerasan (bullying) yang terjadi pada siswa sekolah. Kekerasan yang ditemui ini bisa secara fisik, verbal, dan relasional. Kekerasan seperti ini, yang dilakukan oleh pihak yang merasa dirinya lebih berkuasa atas pihak yang dianggap lebih lemah. Mereka sebagai korban bullying sering mengalami ketakutan untuk sekolah dan menjadi tidak percaya diri merasa tidak nyaman, dan tidak bahagia.
Penelitian ini dilakukan di MAN Tlogo Blitar. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) untuk mengetahui tingkat bullying pada siswa MAN Tlogo Blitar (2) untuk mengetahui tingkat kepercayaan diri siswa MAN Tlogo Blitar (3) untuk mengetahui ada hubungan tidak antara bullying dengan kepercayaan diri siswa MAN Tlogo Blitar.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Variabel bebas yaitu bullying dan variabel terikatnya yaitu kepercayaan diri. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 108 responden, yang merupakan siswa-siswi kelas X MAN Tlogo Blitar. Dalam pengumpulan data penelti menggunakan metode angket berupa skala likert yang dolengkapi dengan dokumentasi. Analisa data penelitian in menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment Karl Pearson dengan bantuan SPSS 16,0 for windows.
Berdasarkan analisa sata diperolah hasil sebagai berikut: (1) hasil analisis aspek bullying dalam jumlah prosentase berada dalam katagori rendah, bullying fisik 99%, pada bullying verbal 55%, dan untuk bullying relasional 81%. (2) hasil analisa kepercayaan diri siswa berada dalam katagori sedang dengan jumlah prosentase 62%, (3) hasil korelasi menunjukkan ada hubungan positif antara bullying dengan kepercayaan diri siswa dengan nilai koefisisen kolerasi rxy = 0,438 dan p = 0,000 < 0,05. Artinya semakin rendah tingkat bullying maka semakin tinggi pula kepercayaan diri siswa.
ENGLISH:
The educational world in Indonesia is faced with many oncoming problems. One of which has been quite discussed are the cases of bullying which has been happening to school students. The violence can come in the form of physical, verbal and relational abuse. The violence has been done by those we feel superior to those who are considered weak. Those who are victims of bullying often experience trauma and are afraid of going to school and become insecure and unhappy.
This research is carried out at the State Madrasah Aliyah MAN TlogoBlitar. The purpose of this research is: (1) to understand the level of bullying towards students of MAN TlogoBlitar (2) and to understand the level of self confidence of the students of MAN TlogoBlitar (3) and to know if there is a correlation between bullying and self-confidence of the students of MAN TlogoBlitar.
This research utilizes the quantitative method. The free variable is bullying whereas the tied variable is self-confidence. The research subjects are 108 respondents, which are the students of class X MAN TlogoBlitar. In data collection, the researcher uses the inquiry form method using the likert scale with documentation. The Analysis in this research uses the correlation technique in the product moment by Karl Pearson with the help of SPSS 16,0 for windows.
Based on the analysis, the results are: 1 analytical aspect of bullying in the low category of percentage, physical bullying amounts to 99%, verbal bullying 55%, and relational bullying 81%. 2 Results of analyzing the self-confidence of the students amounts to medium percentage of 62%. 3 Correlational results shows that there is a positive link between bullying and the self-confidence of the students with the coefficient correlation rxy = 0,438 and p = 0,000 < 0,05. Which means that the lower the bullying rates are, the higher the self-confidence of the students.
