Abstract
INDONESIA:
Dalam kehidupan, individu pasti pernah mengalami hambatan, kesulitan dan tantangan, begitu juga yang dialami pada siswa Madrasah Stanawiyah. Siswa Madrasah Stanawiyah yang tergolong tahap perkembangan remaja, anak diharapkan mampu memenuhi kebutuhan perkembangan social maupun emosional. Karena itu diperlukan kemampuan tersendiri dalam menghadapi krisis yang terjadi pada masa remaja.Salah satu aspek yang mempengaruhi ialah Emotion regulation atau control emosi, dimana control emosi merupakan inti dari kecerdasan emosional.Dengan masalah 1) bagaimana tingkat prestasi belajar siswa MTs Sunan Kalijogo, 2) bagaimana tingkat kecerdasan emosional siswa MTs Sunan Kalijogo, 3) apakah ada hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar siswa MTs Sunan Kalijogo.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kecerdasan emosional dan tingkat Prestasi Belajar pada siswa MTs Sunan Kalijogo, serta hubungan kecerdasan emosional dengan siswa MTs Sunan Kalijogo Karang Besuki Malang. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah ada hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan Prestasi Belajar.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korasional. data yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian ini digunakan untuk mengungkap duavariabel yaitu tingkat kecerdasan emosional dan PrestasiBelajar. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa MTs Sunan Kalijogo Karang Besuki Malang yang berjumlah 62 anak. Instrument penelitian menggunakan skala kecerdasan emosional dan Prestasi Belajar menggunakan hasil nilai raport siswa-siswipada semester II.Teknik analisis data menggunakan product moment correlation dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 16.0 for windows.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kecerdasan emosional siswa MTs Sunan Kalijogo berada pada tingkat sedang dengan prosentase 67,75%,dan tingkat prestasi belajar siswa MTs Sunan Kalijogo berada pada tingkat sedang dengan prosentase 42%. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukka nnilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,440 dengan p 0,000 (<0,05) maka Ha diterimadan Ho ditolak. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu ada hubungan yang positif antara kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar pada siswa MTs Sunan kalijogo Karang Besuki Malang.

In life, the individual must have experienced obstacles, difficulties and challenges, as well as those experienced in the junior secondary school students. Junior secondary school students were classified as adolescent stage of development, children are expected to meet the needs of social and emotional development. Because it required its own capabilities in the face of a crisis that occurs in adolescence. One of the aspects that influence is Emotion regulation or control emotions, control of emotions which is the core of emotional intelligence. With problem 1) how the level of student achievement Islamic Junior High School SunanKalijogo, 2) how the level of emotional intelligence of students Islamic Junior High School SunanKalijogo, 3) whether there is a relationship between emotional intelligence and academic achievement of students Islamic Junior High School Sunan Kalijogo.
The purpose of this study was to determine the level of emotional intelligence and learning achievement at the student level Islamic Junior High School SunanKalijogo, and the relationship of emotional intelligence with students Islamic Junior High School Sunan Kalijogo Karang Besuki Malang. The hypothesis is no relationship between emotional intelligence and learning achievement.
This study is a quantitative research study co-rational types. data obtained from the results of this study are used to reveal two variables: the level of emotional intelligence and learning achievement. The population in this study were students Islamic Junior High School Sunan Kali jogoKarangBesuki Malang, amounting to 62 children. Research instrument using a scale of emotional intelligence and learning achievement using the results of the report cards the students in the second semester.Analysis using product moment correlation using SPSS version 16.0 for windows.
The results showed that the level of emotional intelligence Islamic Junior High School Sunan Kalijo go students are at a moderate level with a percentage of 67.75%, and the level of student achievement Islamic Junior High School Sunan Kalijogo be at a moderate level with a percentage of 42%. The results of the analysis of experimental data showed a correlation coefficient of 0.440 with p 0.000 (<0.05) then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. The conclusion from this research that there is a positive relationship between emotional intelligence and academic achievement in students Islamic Junior High School Sunan Kalijogo Karang Besuki Malang.
