Abstract
INDONESIA:
Kecerdasan emosional merupakan bekal yang penting bagi individu karena individu yang mempunyai kecerdasan emosional dipelajari anak pertama kali melalui interaksi dengan keluarga. Hasil dari interaksi tersebut menghasilkan sebuah ikatan emosional yang bersifat spesifik, dan mengikat mereka dalam suatu kedekatan yang bersifat kekal sepanjang waktu yang disebut juga dengan attachment. Attachment sendiri memiliki beberapa pola diantaranya secure attachment, preoccupeid attachment, dismissing attachment dan fearful attachment. Masing-masing dari pola attachment tersebut diyakini akan membawa pengaruh bagi perkembangan pola attachment pada masa selanjutnya ketika menjalin hubungan dengan orang lain.
Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan pola attachment dengan kecerdasan emosional siswa di SMP Negeri 2 Purwantoro. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa di SMP Negeri 2 Purwantoro. Pengukuran variabel pola attachment menggunakan angket dengan 40 aitem yang merupakan favorable. Sedangkan pengukuran variabel kecerdasan emosional menggunakan angket dengan 39 aitem favorable dan 26 aitem unfavorable. Tehnik pengambilan sampel dengan tehnik random sampling dan analisis data menggunakan menggunakan teknik korelasi Product Moment Karl Pearson dengan bantuan SPPS versi 16.0 for Windows.
Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Pola attachment yang dikembangkan oleh siswa SMP Negeri 2 Purwantoro memiliki pola secure attachment dengan prosentase 30,77%, pola preoccupied attachment dengan prosentase 18,46%, pola dismissing attachment dengan prosentase 29,23% dan pola fearful attachment dengan prosentase 21,54%. Tingkat kecerdasan emosional siswa SMP Negeri 2 Purwantoro mayoritas berada pada tingkatan tinggi dengan prosentase 80,77%. Dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 (sig 2-tailed) diperoleh hasil bahwa pola secure attachment (r= 0,343 ; sig < 0.05) dan pola preoccupied attachment (r= -0.251 ; sig < 0.05) mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan dengan kecerdasan emosional siswa SMP Negeri 2 Purwantoro. Pola dismissing attachment (r = -0,226. ; sig > 0.05 dan pola fearful attachment (r = -0, 147 ; sig > 0.05) tidak mempunyai hubungan yang tidak signifikan dengan kecerdasan emosional siswa SMP Negeri 2 Purwantoro.
ENGLISH:
Emotional intelligence is an important provision for individuals, as individuals have emotional intelligence first since child who learns through interaction with the family. The results of these interactions produce a specific emotional ties, and tie them in an eternal closeness all the time which also called the attachment. Attachment itself has several patterns such as secure attachment, preoccupied attachment, dismissing attachment and fearful attachment. Each of these attachment patterns are believed will influence the development of attachment patterns during having relationship with someone else later.
The research is conducted to determine the pattern of attachment relationships with emotional intelligence of students in The State Junior High School 2 Purwantoro. The design of this study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study are all students in State Junior High School 2 Purwantoro. Measurement variable attachment patterns uses a questionnaire with 40 aitem which is favorable. While the measurement of emotional intelligence variables uses a questionnaire with 39 aitem favorable and 26 unfavorable aitem. Sampling technique uses random sampling techniques, but techniques analysis of data uses Karl Pearson Product Moment Correlation with the help of SPPS version 16.0 for Windows.
The results of this study indicate that the pattern of attachment developed by students of The State Junior High School 2 Purwantoro have a secure pattern of attachment with a percentage of 30.77%, preoccupied attachment patterns with a percentage of 18.46%, dismissing attachment pattern with the percentage of 29.23% and fearful attachment pattern with percentage of 21.54%. The level of emotional intelligence students of The State Junior High School 2 Purwantoro majority are at a high level with a percentage of 80.77%. With significance level 0.05 (2-tailed sig) obtained results that the pattern of secure attachment (r = 0.343; sig <0.05) and preoccupied attachment patterns (r = -0251; sig <0.05) had a significant relationship with emotional intelligence students of The State Junior High School 2 Purwantoro. Dismissing attachment pattern (r = -0.226.; Sig> 0.05 and fearful attachment pattern (r = -0, 147; sig> 0.05) had no significant relationships with the emotional intelligence students of The State Junior High School 2 Purwantoro.
