Perancangan Stasiun Ponorogo Integrasi Antarmoda dengan Pendekatan Critical Regionalism

Kabupaten Ponorogo memiliki potensi budaya, ekonomi, dan pariwisata yang terus berkembang, namun belum didukung oleh infrastruktur transportasi berbasis rel yang memadai sehingga mobilitas masyarakat masih didominasi oleh transportasi jalan raya. Perancangan Stasiun Ponorogo Integrasi Antarmoda dirancang sebagai simpul transportasi terpadu yang mampu meningkatkan konektivitas wilayah melalui integrasi berbagai moda transportasi sekaligus menjadi ruang publik yang representatif. Perancangan ini menggunakan pendekatan Critical Regionalism dengan konsep Noto Budoyo, yang menempatkan budaya sebagai dasar pembentukan ruang, bentuk, dan struktur bangunan melalui reinterpretasi nilai arsitektur Jawa dan kesenian Reog Ponorogo ke dalam arsitektur kontemporer yang responsif terhadap kebutuhan masa kini. Lokasi perancangan berada di Kecamatan Babadan, Kabupaten Ponorogo, dengan fasilitas berupa stasiun kereta api, area komersial, hotel transit, ruang publik, serta depo kereta api yang terintegrasi dengan jaringan transportasi regional. Hasil perancangan diharapkan mampu menghadirkan stasiun yang tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana transportasi, tetapi juga sebagai representasi identitas budaya lokal yang mendukung perkembangan kawasan secara berkelanjutan.

Ponorogo Regency possesses significant cultural, economic, and tourism potential; however, the lack of adequate railway infrastructure has resulted in transportation systems that remain highly dependent on road networks. The design of the Ponorogo Intermodal Station is proposed as an integrated transportation hub aimed at improving regional connectivity through the integration of multiple transportation modes while simultaneously serving as a representative public space. The project adopts a Critical Regionalism approach through the Noto Budoyo concept, which places culture as the foundation for shaping space, form, and structure by reinterpreting the values of Javanese architecture and the spirit of Reog Ponorogo into a contemporary architectural expression that responds to present-day needs. Located in Babadan District, Ponorogo Regency, the project includes a railway station, commercial areas, a transit hotel, public spaces, and a railway depot integrated with the regional transportation network. The design is expected to create a station that functions not only as a transportation facility but also as a representation of local cultural identity that supports sustainable regional development.
