تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل الصدمة النفسية لدى الشخصية النسائية في رواية «سقوط الإمام» لنوال السعداوي، وبيان علاقتها بالحاجات الأساسية للإنسان وفق نظرية هرم الحاجات لأبراهام ماسلو، ولا سيما الحاجة إلى الأمن والحاجة إلى التقدير. وتعتمد الدراسة المنهج الكيفي ذي الطابع الوصفي التحليلي من خلال مقاربة علم النفس الأدبي. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن الصدمة التي تعاني منها الشخصية النسائية تتسم بالتعقيد والبنية الاجتماعية، إذ نتجت عن ضغوط النظام الأبوي، والعنف، وإساءة استخدام السلطة الاجتماعية والدينية. ولم تقتصر آثار هذه الصدمة على الحالة النفسية للفرد، مثل الخوف والقلق وأزمة الهوية، بل ارتبطت كذلك بعدم إشباع الحاجة إلى الأمن. وقد أدى استمرار الشعور بعدم الأمان إلى عيش الشخصية النسائية في حالة دائمة من التهديد، مما أعاق نموها النفسي. كما كشفت الدراسة أن الصدمة أثرت أيضاً في انهيار الحاجة إلى التقدير؛ إذ تعرضت الشخصية النسائية للإهانة والتمييز وفقدان الاعتراف الاجتماعي، مما أدى إلى تدني تقدير الذات وأزمة الهوية. ومع ذلك، ظهرت عملية للتعافي تمثلت في تنامي الوعي الذاتي وسعي الشخصية إلى إعادة بناء كرامتها وهويتها. وبذلك تؤكد هذه الدراسة أن فشل إشباع الحاجة إلى الأمن والتقدير يمثل عاملاً رئيساً في ظهور الصدمة النفسية. ومن جهة أخرى، يشكل الوعي الذاتي مفتاحاً مهماً في عملية التعافي وإعادة تشكيل هوية المرأة بوصفها فرداً يمتلك قيمة وكرامة

ABSTRACT

This study aims to analyze the psychological trauma experienced by the female character in the novel Suqut al-Imam by Nawal El Saadawi and to explain its relationship to basic human needs according to Abraham Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory, particularly the needs for safety and esteem. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method through the perspective of literary psychology. The results of the study show that the trauma experienced by the female character is complex and structural in nature, resulting from the pressures of the patriarchal system, violence, and the abuse of social and religious power. The trauma affects not only the individual’s psychological condition, such as fear, anxiety, and identity crisis, but is also closely related to the failure to fulfill the need for safety. The continuous sense of insecurity causes the female character to live in a constant state of threat, thereby hindering her psychological development. In addition, this study finds that trauma also contributes to the destruction of the need for esteem. The female character experiences humiliation, discrimination, and the loss of social recognition, which lead to low self-esteem and an identity crisis. Nevertheless, there is a process of recovery marked by the emergence of self-awareness and the character’s efforts to reconstruct her dignity and identity. Thus, this study confirms that the failure to fulfill the needs for safety and self-esteem constitutes a major factor in the emergence of psychological trauma. On the other hand, self-awareness becomes an important key in the process of recovery and the reconstruction of female identity as an individual possessing value and dignity.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis trauma psikologis tokoh perempuan dalam novel Suqut al-Imam karya Nawal El Saadawi serta kaitannya dengan kebutuhan dasar manusia menurut teori hierarki kebutuhan Abraham Maslow, khususnya kebutuhan akan rasa aman (safety needs) dan rasa dihargai (esteem needs). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif-analitis melalui kajian psikologi sastra. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa trauma yang dialami tokoh perempuan bersifat kompleks dan struktural, yang disebabkan oleh tekanan sistem patriarki, kekerasan, serta penyalahgunaan kekuasaan sosial dan agama. Trauma tersebut tidak hanya berdampak pada kondisi psikologis individu, seperti ketakutan, kecemasan, dan krisis identitas, tetapi juga berkaitan erat dengan kegagalan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan akan rasa aman. Ketidakamanan yang terus-menerus membuat tokoh perempuan hidup dalam kondisi terancam sehingga menghambat perkembangan psikologisnya. Selain itu, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa trauma juga berpengaruh terhadap hancurnya kebutuhan akan rasa dihargai. Tokoh perempuan mengalami penghinaan, diskriminasi, dan kehilangan pengakuan sosial yang menyebabkan rendahnya harga diri serta krisis identitas. Namun demikian, terdapat proses pemulihan yang ditandai dengan munculnya kesadaran diri dan upaya tokoh untuk merekonstruksi kembali martabat serta identitasnya.Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa kegagalan pemenuhan kebutuhan rasa aman dan penghargaan diri menjadi faktor utama munculnya trauma psikologis. Di sisi lain, kesadaran diri menjadi kunci penting dalam proses pemulihan dan pembentukan kembali identitas perempuan sebagai individu yang memiliki nilai dan martabat.
