Analisis pemanfaatan koleksi elfan bookless library system di Perpustakaan SMA Ar-Rohmah Putri menggunakan uses and gratifications theory

Perpustakaan SMA Ar-Rohmah Putri mempunyai e-book Elfan Bookless Library System mengalami kendala eror dan lambat yang menyebabkan pengguna yang mengakses Elfan Bookless Library System menurun. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan koleksi Elfan Bookless Library System dengan menggunakan Teori Uses and Gratifications, yang berfokus pada perilaku pengguna dalam mengakses e-book untuk memenuhi kebutuhannya. Teori Uses and Gratifications terdiri dari dua sub variabel, yaitu kebutuhan khalayak dan pemuasan media. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling dengan total 85 responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dengan menghitung nilai mean setiap indikator, nilai grand mean setiap sub variabel dan nilai modus pada setiap indikator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel pemanfaatan koleksi mendapat nilai grand mean 3,519 (kategori tinggi), sub variabel kebutuhan khalayak memperoleh nilai grand mean sebesar 3,449 (kategori tinggi) dan dari sub variabel pemuasan media mendapat nilai grand mean sebesar 3,590 (kategori tinggi). Dari 18 indikator, terdapat 13 indikator berada dalam kategori nilai tinggi, 4 indikator yang mendapat nilai cukup, dan 1 indikator mendapat nilai rendah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan koleksi e-book Elfan Bookless Library System telah baik dan sesuai dengan Teori Uses and Gratifications.

The library of SMA Ar-Rohmah Putri has applied the Elfan Bookless Library System for its e-book collection. However, it faces errors and runs slow leading to decreasing numbers of people accessing the system. The research aims to determine the use of the Elfan Bookless Library System collection using the Uses and Gratifications theory, focusing on the user’s behavior in accessing e-books to meet their needs. The theory consists of two sub-variables: people’s needs and media consumption. The research employed a quantitative method and the purposive sampling technique to choose 85 respondents. The researcher used a descriptive analysis by calculating the mean of each indicator, the grand mean of each sub-variable, and the mode of each indicator. The research results show that the collection use variable has a grand mean of 3.519 (high), the people’s need sub-variable has a grand mean of 3.449 (high), and the media consumption subvariable has a grand mean of 3.590 (high). From 18 indicators, 13 indicators attain a high category, four attain sufficient, and 1 attain a low category. The research results conclude that the use of the e-book collection of the Elfan Bookless Library System is good and follows the uses and gratification theory.

تواجه مكتبة مدرسة الرحمة الثانوية العامة للبنات مشاكل في نظام المكتبة الإلكترونية "إلفان بوكليس"، حيث تعاني من أخطاء وبطء يؤديان إلى انخفاض عدد المستخدمين الذين يصلون إلى نظام المكتبة الإلكترونية "إلفان بوكليس". هدف البحث هو معرفة كيفية استفادة المستخدمين من مجموعة نظام المكتبة الإلكترونية "إلفان بوكليس" باستخدام نظرية الاستخدامات والإشباعات، التي تركز على سلوك المستخدمين في الوصول إلى الكتب الإلكترونية لتلبية احتياجاتهم. تتكون نظرية الاستخدامات والإشباعات من متغيرين فرعيين، وهما احتياجات الجمهور وإشباع الوسائط. المنهج المستخدم في هذا البحث هو المنهج الكمي باستخدام تقنية أخذ العينات الهادفة مع إجمالي 85 مستجيبًا. تقنية تحليل البيانات المستخدمة هي التحليل الوصفي من خلال حساب متوسط قيمة كل مؤشر، ومتوسط قيمة كل متغير جزئي، وقيمة النمط لكل مؤشر. أظهرت نتائج البحث أن متغير الاستفادة من المجموعات حصل على متوسط عام قدره 3.519 (فئة عالية)، بينما حصل المتغير الفرعي لاحتياجات الجمهور على متوسط عام قدره 3.449 (فئة عالية) ومن المتغير الفرعي الخاص بإشباع الوسائط حصل على متوسط عام قدره 3.590 (فئة عالية). من بين 18 مؤشرًا، توجد 13 مؤشرًا في قيمة عالية، و4 مؤشرات حصلت على قيمة متوسطة، ومؤشر واحد حصل على قيمة منخفضة. بناءً على نتائج البحث، الاستنتاج منها الاستفادة من مجموعة المتب الإلكترونية في نظام المكتبة الإلكترونية "إلفان بوكليس" تمت بشكل جيد ومتوافق مع نظرية الاستخدامات والإشباعات
