وفي الحياة الاجتماعية، أصبح الترابط بين الكائنات الحية حاجة أساسية. وهذا ما يجعل البشر يقال أنهم مخلوقات اجتماعية.يعد التفاعل مع الآخرين جزءًا مهمًا من الروتين اليومي، بدءًا من الاستيقاظ وحتى العودة إلى النوم. تقدم الروايات حقائق اجتماعية مختلفة، أحدها التفاعل الاجتماعي. نظرية التفاعل الرمزي هي نظرية مناسبة للاستخدام لأنه في الحياة اليومية يتفاعل البشر باستخدام الرموز التي لها معنى خاص بها. تعتبر رواية "ما وراء الجبال" مصدر هذا البحث، وقد تمت دراستها من منظور جورج هربرت ميد في نظرية التفاعل الرمزي. ويهدف هذا البحث إلىفهم مفاهيم العقل والذات والمجتمع لدى الشخصيات الرئيسية في الرواية“ما وراء الجبال” عمل الدكتور فريح الحريري من وجهة نظر جورج هربرت ميد. يستخدم هذا البحث البحث النوعي. البحث النوعي هو نوع من الأبحاث التي لا يتم الحصول على نتائجها من الإجراءات الإحصائية أو غيرها من أشكال الحساب. نتائج هذا البحث يحتوي على ثلاث نقاط مهمة منها 1) التعرف على مفهوم العقل الذي يشمل الإيماءات والرموز والمعاني والأفعال في الشخصية الرئيسية في رواية "ما وروا الجبال" للدكتور. فرح الحريري. 2) التعرف على مدى عفوية مفهوم الذات في مرحلة "أنا وأنا" لدى الشخصية الرئيسية في رواية "ما وراء الجبال" للدكتور. فرح الحريري. 3) معرفة كيف يؤثر مفهوم المجتمع الذي يتضمن التعاطف والصراع على تكوين الشخصية الرئيسية. توفر هذه النتائج فهما أعمق لمفاهيم العقل والذات والمجتمع في نظرية التفاعل الرمزي من وجهة نظر جورج هربرت ميد في الأعمال الأدبية، فضلا عن مساهمة نظرية التفاعل الرمزي في تحليل التفاعلات بين الشخصيات الرئيسية في رواية "ما واراء الجبال".

ABSTRACT

In social life, interdependence between living creatures has become a basic need. This is what makes humans said to be social creatures.Interaction with other people is an important part of daily routine, from waking up to going back to sleep. Novels present various social realities, one of which is social interaction. Symbolic interaction theory is a suitable theory to use because in everyday life humans interact using symbols that have their own meaning. The novel "Ma Waroa Al-Jibal" is the data source for this research, and is studied using George Herbert Mead's perspective of symbolic interaction theory. This research aims tounderstand the concepts of mind, self and society in the main characters in the novel“Ma Waroa Al-Jibal” the work of Dr. Farih Al-Hariri based on George Herbert Mead's perspective. This research uses qualitative research. Qualitative research is a type of research whose findings are not obtained from statistical procedures or other forms of calculation. Results of this research has three important points, including 1) to find out the concept of mind which includes gestures, symbols, meanings and actions in the main character in the novel "Ma Waroa Al-jibal" by Dr. Farih Al Hariri. 2) to find out how the concept of self at the "I and Me" stage is spontaneous and self-reflective in the main character in the novel "Ma Waroa Al-jibal" by Dr. Farih Al Hariri. 3) To find out how the concept of society which includes sympathy and conflict influences the formation of the main character. These findings provide a deeper understanding of the concepts of mind, self and society in symbolic interaction theory from George Herbert Mead's perspective in literary works, as well as the contribution of symbolic interaction theory in analyzing interactions between the main characters in the novel "Ma Waroa Al-jibal".

ABSTRAK

Dalam Kehidupan sosial ketergantungan antar makhluk hidup sudah menjadi kebutuhan yang mendasar. Hal itu yang membuat manusia dikatakan sebagai makhluk sosial. Interaksi dengan orang lain merupakan bagian penting dari rutinitas sehari-hari, sejak dari bangun tidur hingga kembali tidur. Novel menyuguhkan berbagai realitas sosial, salah satu diantaranya adalah interaksi sosial. Teori interaksi simbolik merupakan teori yang cocok digunakan karena dalam kesehariannya manusia berinteraksi menggunakan simbol yang mempunyai makna tersendiri. Novel “Ma Waroa Al-Jibal” menjadi sumber data dari penelitian ini, dan dikaji dengan menggunakan teori interaksi simbolik prespektif George Herbert Mead. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana konsep mind, self dan society pada tokoh utama dalam novel “Ma Waroa Al-jibal” karya Dr. Farih Al-Hariri berdasarkan prespektif George Herbert Mead. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian kualitatif adalah jenis penelitian yang temuannya tidak didapat dari prosedur statistic maupun bentuk hitungan yang lainnya. Hasil dari penelitian ini memiliki tiga point penting, diantaranya 1) untuk mengetahui bagaimana konsep mind yang mencakup pada gesture, simbol, makna dan tindakan pada tokoh utama dalam novel “Ma Waroa Al-jibal” karya Dr. Farih Al-hariri. 2) untuk mengetahui bagaimana konsep self pada tahapan “I dan Me” yang bersifat spontanitas dan refleksi diri pada tokoh utama dalam novel “Ma Waroa Al-jibal” karya Dr. Farih Al-hariri. 3) Untuk mengetahui bagaimana konsep society yang mencakup pada simpati dan konflik yang berpengaruh dalam pembentukan tokoh utama. Temuan ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang bagaimana konsep mind, self dan society dalam teori interaksi simbolik prespektif George Herbert mead dalam karya sastra, serta kontribusi teori interaksi simbolik dalam menganalisis interaksi pada tokoh utama dalam novel “Ma Waroa Al-jibal”.
