Abstract
INDONESIA:
Penelitian ini membahas tentang konstruksi dan simulasi model gelombang permukaan aliran air pada bidang miring. Dalam konstruksi model, digunakan hukum-hukum dasar aliran fluida termasuk persamaan kontinuitas dan persamaan momentum. Beberapa asumsi yang digunakan antara lain bahwa aliran pada satu dimensi, panjang aliran lebih besar dari kedalaman aliran, distribusi tekanan vertikal gelombang adalah hidrostatik dan dasar aliran tidak berubah-ubah. Adapun langkah-langkah dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) menurunkan persamaan-persamaan dasar yang terjadi pada aliran fluida, (2) menyederhanakan model, (3) melakukan diskritisasi model, dan (4) melakukan simulasi terhadap model kemudian menginterpretasikannya.
Model yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini berbentuk persamaan non linier satu dimensi yang dikenal dengan persamaan Saint Venant. Dari hasil simulasi model,diketahui bahwa permukaan gelombang air pada bidang miring yang melaju dari perairan laut dalam menuju perairan pantai semakin tajam dan lembah semakin datar. Semakin kecil ketinggian air, kecepatan laju gelombang menjadi semakin lambat (tenang).
ENGLISH:
This study discusses the construction and surface wave model simulations of water flow on the incline. In the construction of the model, the basic laws of fluid flow including continuity equation and momentum equation are used. Several assumptions are used, such as the flow in one dimension, the length of the flow is greater than the depth of flow, pressure distribution is hydrostatic and vertical wave basic flow does not change. The steps in this research are: (1) constructing the basic equations for the fluid flow, (2) simplifying the model, (3) reconstructing to discrete form, and (4) simulating the model then interpret it.
The model obtained in this study is non-linear one-dimensional equation known as Saint Venant equations. From the results of model simulations, it is shown that surface water waves on an inclined plane drove from deep water towards the coastal waters increasingly sharp and increasingly flat valley. The lower the water level, the speed of the wave becomes increasingly slower.
