Abstract
INDONESIA:
Kurma merupakan buah yang memiliki banyak manfaat dan keutamaan. Jumlah permintaan kurma di Indonesia semakin tahun semakin meningkat dan belum diimbangai dengan kemampuan produksinya. Sehingga, Indonesia harus mengimpor kurma dari negara lain. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan pembibitan kurma sehingga kebutuhan kurma dapat terpenuhi. Perkecambahan adalah proses awal dari pembibitan. Keberadaan medan magnet diduga dapat mempengaruhi proses perkecambahan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Mengetahui pengaruh kuat paparan medan magnet terhadap proses perkecambahan tanaman kurma (Phoenix Dactylifera) jenis Majol. (2) Mengetahui pengaruh lama paparan medan magnet terhadap proses perkecambahan tanaman kurma (Phoenix Dactylifera) jenis Majol. Penelitian menggunakan biji kurma Majol dengan ukuran dan bentuk yang sama. Terdapat 4 perlakuan besar paparan medan magnet dan 3 perlakuan waktu paparan medan magnet. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: paparan medan magnet berpengaruh terhadap banyak kecambah kurma Majol dan panjang kecambah kurma.
ENGLISH:
Date palms are the fruit that have many benefits and virtues. In addition, the number of demand in the date palm in Indonesia have increased and the production capabilities have not been balanced. So, Indonesia had to import date palm from other countries. Therefore, it should be done so that the palm nursery palm needs can be met. Germination is the beginning of the breeding process. The existence of a magnetic field could be expected to affect the germination process. The purpose of this study is: (1) to understand the strong influence of magnetic field exposure on the germination process plant date palm (Phoenix dactylifera) Majol types. (2) to understand the effects of long exposure to the magnetic field of the germination process plant date palm (Phoenix dactylifera) types Majol. This research used Majol date palm seed with the same size and shape. There are 4 major treatment exposure to a magnetic field and 3 treatment of exposure to magnetic fields. The results of this study indicated that: exposure to the magnetic field effect on a lot of dates Majol sprouts and sprout long date palm.
