ABSTRACT

Let R be a ring with non-zero identity. The unit graph G(R) is a graph with R as the set of vertices and two distinct vertices u,v are adjacent if and only if u+v is a unit of R. This research aims to determine the general pattern of Randic index and reciprocal Randic index of unit graph of the ring of integers modulo a prime. The method used in this research is the study of literature from books and articles. The results of this study are as follows:
The Randic index of unit graph of the ring of integers modulo p with p is a prime and p≥3 is
R(〖G(Z〗_p))=((p-1)/((√((p-1)(p-2)))))+ (((((p-3))/2)(p-1)/((p-2))).
The reciprocal Randic index of unit graph of the ring of integers modulo p with p is a prime and p≥3 is
RR(〖G(Z〗_p))=((p-1)(√((p-1)(p-2) )))+(( ((p-3))/2 (p-1))(p-2)).

ABSTRAK

Misalkan R adalah ring dengan unsur kesatuan. Graf unit G(R) adalah suatu graf dengan R sebagai himpunan titik dan dua titik u,v yang berbeda terhubung langsung jika dan hanya jika u+v adalah unit dari R. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan rumus Randic index dan reciprocal Randic index pada graf unit dari ring bilangan bulat modulo bilangan prima. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah studi kepustakaan dengan rujukan dari beberapa buku dan artikel. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut :
