Abstract

ABSTRACT

Design research has been carried out in the detection of alcohol levels in urine using a MQ-3 sensor based on Arduino Uno molecular.The aim is the manufacture of alcohol content measuring devices and testing of alcohol measuring devices in urine. The measuring instrument made consisted of several hardware, namely MQ-3 gas sensor, Arduino Uno, USB connector, voltage source and LCD 16x2. The samples tested were alcohol user urine. The urine sample data produced is then validated with pure alcohol reference data. The results of this study on the correlation graph obtained the value of y=-37,61x2+279,55x+201,61, the correlation for the voltage sensor is 0.9677. The range (range) that can be read bya tool is a level of 1% to 5%.

ABSTRAK

Telah dilakukan penelitian rancang bangun deteksi kadar alkohol pada urin menggunakan sensor MQ-3 berbasis molrokontroler Arduino Uno. Tujuannya adalah pembuatan alat ukur kadar alkohol dan pengujian alat ukur kadar alkohol pada urin. Alat ukur yang dibuat terdiri dari beberapa hardware yaitu sensor gas MQ-3, Arduino Uno, konektor USB, sumber tegangan dan LCD16x2. Sampel yang diuji berupa urin pengguna alkohol. Data sampel urin yang dihasilkan kemudian divalidasi dengan data acuan alkohol murni. Hasil dari penelitian ini pada grafik korelasi didapat nilai y=-37,61x2+279,55x+201,61 maka korelasi untuk sensor tegangan adalah 0.9677. Jangkauan (range) yang dapat terbaca oleh alat adalah kadar 1% hingga 5%.
