Abstract
INDONESIA:
Keragaman memang indah dan menjadi kekayaan bangsa yang sangat berharga, dibalik keragaman terkandung perbedaan-perbedaan baik pandangan, pemikiran yang dapat menimbulkan konflik yang besar di dalamnya. Keragaman tercermin juga dalam Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang yang di dalamnya terdapat berbagai kelompok organisasi yang masing- masing menjunjung tinggi etnisitasnya serta mempunyai perbedaan pandangan dalam berinteraksi. Hal tersebut tidak jarang menimbulkan permasalahan, termasuk perselisihan antar mahasiswa sebagai anggota suatu organsisasi terhadap mahasiswa yang termasuk anggota organisasi lain. Dalam hal ini muncul antagonisme kelompok dalam bentuk etnosentrisme. Berbagai cara telah dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Salah satunya yaitu menumbuhkan moral religius dan toleransi.
Melihat permasalahan di atas maka perlu dilakukan sebuah penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh etnosentrisme organisasi mahasiswa ekstra kampus, moral religius, latar belakang pendidikan terhadap toleransi mahasiswa UIN Maliki Malang. Penelitian ini mengambil sampel dengan teknik Cluster Random Sampling sebanyak 300 mahasiswa UIN Maliki Malang pada 3 fakultas, yaitu fakultas Syariah, Saintek, dan Psikologi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik kuisioner yaitu dengan memberikan skala Moral Religius, Generalized Ethnocentrism Scale dan Tolerance For Disagreement yang diadopsi dari Neulip & McCroskey (1997) dan Jason Teven (1998) yang telah disesuaikan untuk mahasiswa UIN Maliki Malang dengan jumlah 22 Item Moral Religius dengan reliabilitas σ = 0.858 dan 24 item untuk skala Tolerance for Disagreement dengan reliabilitas σ = 0.701 serta skala Generalized Ethnocentrism Scale terdapat 21 item dengan reliabilitas σ = 0.873 kemudian dilakukan suatu analisis menggunakan teknik Regresi dan Anova melalui program SPSS 17’ for windows.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapat bahwa pada faktor etnosentrisme dengan toleransi memiliki nilai t = -3.288 dan sig (p) = 0.001 dimana p < 0.01, pada faktor moral religius dengan toleransi t = 3.713 dan sig (p) = 0.000 dimana p < 0.01 dan faktor latar belakang pendidikan dengan toleransi t = -1.342 dan sig (p) = 0.181 dimana p > 0,01 dengan perbedaan nilai pada masing-masing latar belakang pendidikan yaitu agama 13, sosial 15 dan eksakta 20. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa toleransi dipengaruhi oleh etnosentrime, yang mana toleransi dapat menjadi rendah apabila etnosntrisme tinggi. Dan juga moral religius dapat mempengaruhi toleransi namun secara positif yang artinya apabila moral religius tinggi maka toleransi juga tinggi sedangkan latar belakang pendidikan tidak berpengaruh terhadap toleransi namun demikian ada kecenderungan perbedaan tiap-tiap latar belakang pendidikan.

Diversity is indeed wonderful and precious wealth of Nations, behind the diversity contained differences both views, thoughts that can cause conflict is great in it. Diversity is reflected also in the State Islamic University (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim was unfortunate that there were various groups within each organization upholding the terms and differences in view of interacting. It is not uncommon to give rise to problems, including disputes between students as a member of the student organizations including members of other organizations. In this case appears in the form of ethnocentrism group of antagonism, which students have confidence and understand that her group as the number one campus and surroundings considered low in other organizations. Various ways have been made to solve the problem. One of the ways to solve these problems in order to reduce disputes that by growing religious and moral tolerance.
See problems over then necessary a study which aims to know influence etnosentrisme student organisations extra campus, moral religious, education background against tolerance student UIN Maliki Malang. This research her to take samples with clusters of random sampling techniques 300 college students UIN Maliki Malang on 3 faculty, faculty of syariah, science, and psychology. Collecting data was done using a technique kuisioner namely by giving the scale of moral religious, generalized ethnocentrism " scale doubles " and tolerance for disagreement adopted from neulip & McCroskey ( 1997 ) and Jason Teven ( 1998 ) that has been adjusted for a student uin maliki unfortunate by the number of 22 items moral religious with reliability σ = 0.858 and 24 items to scale tolerance for disagreement with reliability σ = 0.701 as well as scales generalized ethnocentrism " scale doubles " there are 21 item with reliability σ = 0.873 then will be an analysis using a technique of regression and anova through the program spss 17 for windows.
Based on the research results obtained on factors that laissez-faire has value ethnocentrism with t =-3,361 and sig (p) = 0.001 where p < 0.01, on moral and religious tolerance with t = 3.713 and sig (p) = 0000 where p < 0.01 and educational background with t = tolerance-1342 and sig (p) = 0.181 where p > 0.01 with a difference value of at each educational background i.e. religion, 15-13 social and exact sciences. So it can be concluded that tolerance is affected by the ethnocentrism, which can be a low tolerance in high ethnocentrism. And also religious morals can be memepengaruhi but in a positive tolerance meaning if religious moral is high then the tolerance is also high and educational background have no effect against the toleration of differences, however there is a tendency for each educational background.
