Abstract
INDONESIA:
Bakteri amilolitik dan selulolitik merupakan bakteri yang dapat memproduksi enzim amilase dan selulase. Penelitian pendahuluan telah berhasil mengisolasi bakteri amilolitik dan selulolitik dari bekatul. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi isolat bakteri amilolitik dan selulolitik dari bekatul berdasarkan karakter fenotip. Karakter fenotip isolat yang diuji meliputi morfologi koloni, morfologi sel, karakter biokimia, dan karakter fisiologis. Identifikasi dilakukan menggunakan metode profile matching dengan mengacu pada Bergey’s Manual Determinative Bacteriology. Klasifikasi isolat bakteri amilolitik dan selulolitik dilakukan menggunakan software program identifikasi yaitu MVSP (Multivariate Statistical Package) dengan alogaritma pengklasteran UPGMA (Unweighted Pair Group Method With Arithmetic Averages). Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi bakteri amilolitik termasuk spesies Bacillus subtilis memiliki kemiripan 92% dan bakteri selulolitik termasuk spesies neiseria mucosa memiliki kemiripan sebesar 96%.

Amylolytic and cellulolytic bacteria are bacteria that can produce the amylase and cellulaseenzymes. Preliminary research has managed to isolate amylolytic and cellulolytic bacteria from rice bran. The purpose of this study was to identify the amylolytic and cellulolytic bacterial isolate from bran based on phenotypic character. phenotypeCharacter of isolate that had been tested included of colony morphology, cell morphology, biochemistry characters, and physiological characteristics. Identification was done using the method of profile matching with reference to Bergey's Manual of Determinative Bacteriology. The classification of amylolytic and cellulolytic bacteria was performed using program software of identification; it was MVSP (Multivariate Statistical Package) with clustering algorithm of UPGMA (Unweighted Pair Group Method with Arithmetic Averages). Based on identification amylolytic bacteria including Bacillus subtilis species had similarity of 92% and cellulolytic bacteria, including species of Neisseria mucosa had a similarity of 96%.
