Abstract
INDONESIA:
Motivasi dan lingkungan kerja merupakan faktor penting dalam peningkatan kinerja. Motivasi didefinisikan suatu faktor yang mendorong seseorang untuk melakukan aktivitas. Sedangkan, lingkungan kerja didefinisikan segala sesuatu yang ada disekitar para pekerja dan dapat mempengaruhi mereka dalam menjalankan tugas. Dimungkinkan ada pengaruh yang berbeda antara motivasi dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XII Cabang Malang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh motivasi (X1) dan lingkungan kerja (X2) baik secara simultan, parsial dan variabel yang berpengaruh dominan terhadap kinerja karyawan (Y) PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XII Cabang Malang.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-analisis dengan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Sementara, untuk teknik pengambilan sampelnya menggunakan Sampling Jenuh (sensus) dimana jumlah populasinya sebanyak 40 responden. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa kuisioner, kemudian data yang diperoleh diolah dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan regresi linier berganda, serta regresi parsial.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi (X1) dan lingkungan kerja (X2) berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XII Cabang Malang secara simultan. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai Fhitung 10,339 ≥ Ftabel 3,23 dan signifikansinya 0,000 ≤ 0,05. Secara parsial motivasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XII Cabang Malang. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai thitung -0,654 ≥ ttabel -2,021 dan Signifikansinya 0,517 ≥ 0,05. Sedangkan, lingkungan kerja (X2) secara parsial berpengaruh terhadap kinerja PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XII Cabang Malang. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai thitung 4,365 ≥ ttabel 2,021 dan signifikansinya 0,000 ≤ 0,05. Sedangkan, variabel dominan berdasarkan kuadrat korelasi sederhana ditunjukkan oleh variabel lingkungan kerja (X2) yaitu memiliki kontribusi sebesar 35,1%.
ENGLISH:
Motivation and workplace is the important factors in increasing performance. Motivation is defined as a supporting factor for someone to have activity. Meanwhile, workplace is defined as something around the employees and it can influence them in conducting their tasks. There is possibly the different influence between motivation and workplace toward employees’ performance in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XII branch of Malang. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of motivation (X1) and workplace (X2) whether in simultaneous, partial and variable which has dominant influence toward employees’ performance (Y) in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XII branch of Malang.
This study used descriptive analysis approach with quantitative study design. Sampling in this study was saturated sampling (census) where the number of population is 40 respondents. Instrument of this study is questionnaire, and then obtained data was analyzed by using descriptive statistical and doubled linier regression, also partial regression.
The result of this study shows that motivation (X1) and workplace (X2) influences the performance of employees in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XII branch of Malang simultaneously. It shown by the value of Fcalculation 10,339 ≥ Ftable 3,23 and the significance is 0,000 ≤ 0,05. Partially, motivation has no influence toward employees’ performance in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XII branch of Malang. It is shown by the value of tcalculation -0,654 ≥ ttable -2,021 and the significance is 0,517 ≥ 0,05. Meanwhile, workplace (X2) partially influences the performance in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XII branch of Malang. It shown with the value of tcalculation 4,365 ≥ ttable 2,021 and the significance is 0,000 ≤ 0,05. The dominant variable based on simple correlation square shown by workplace variable (X2) is by having contribution of 35,1%.
