Abstract
INDONESIA:
Kecerdasan emosi merupakan salah satu hal yang menentukan kesuksesan manusia yang selalu digunakan sehari-hari terutama dalam mengatasi masalah. Kecerdasan emosi terus berkembang bersama dengan perkembangan manusia bergantung pada pembelajaran masing-masing individu. Penyelesaian masalah akan berjalan lancar jika dalam keadaan tenang baik dengan pikiran yang jernih maupun perasaan yang tenang. Ada faktor-faktor yang dapat menentukan tingkat kecerdasan emosi, diantaranya: kesadaran diri, kontrol diri, motivasi diri, empati dan keterampilan sosial.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besar pengaruh masing-masing faktor kecerdasan emosi yang diantaranya kesadaran diri, kontrol diri, motivasi diri, empati dan keterampilan sosial mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Hipotesis awal yang diajukan terdapat faktor kesadaran diri, kontrol diri, motivasi diri, empati dan keterampilan sosial sebagai faktor – faktor kecerdasan emosi mahasiswa fakultas psikologi uin maulana malik ibrahim malang.
Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa fakultas psikologi UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan simple random sampling dengan jumlah sampel 145 mahasiswa, dan teknik analisa data dengan CFA (Corfirmatory Factor Analysis) dengan menggunakan Amos 18.0.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Faktor kesadaran diri mempunyai muatan faktor 0.7941 (P-value 0,000 ≤ 0,05 signifikan), faktor kontrol diri mempunyai muatan faktor 0.7801 (P-value 0,000 ≤ 0,05 signifikan), faktor motivasi diri mempunyai muatan faktor 0.5056 (P-value 0,000 ≤ 0,05 signifikan), faktor empati mempunyai muatan faktor 0.7941 (P-value 0,000 ≤ 0,05 signifikan), Faktor keterampilan sosial mempunyai faktor 0.7191 (P-value 0,000 ≤ 0,05 signifikan).
ENGLISH:
Emotional intelligence is one of many ways to the success of people used in their daily life, especially in solving their problem. It was evolved continually within human development and depended on each individual's process of learning. The problem solving will run smoothly, if the process occur in the good-tempered with the open-mindedness and the calm feeling. There are many factors that can determine the level of emotional intelligence, such as: self-awareness, self- control, self-motivation, empathy and social skills.
This research intent to determine how large the contribution of each - including self-awareness, self-control, self-motivation, empathy and social skills- in the students personality of the Faculty of Psychology of the Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang State Islamic University. The former hypothesis proposed that there are the many factors like self-awareness, self-control, self-motivation, empathy and social skills look as the emotional intelligence factors for the students of Faculty of Psychology in Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University Malang.
The research design used quantitative approach. The population in this research were the students of faculty of psychology of Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University Malang. Sampling technique used simple random sampling with a sample among 145 students, and data analysis techniques with CFA (Corfirmatory Factor Analysis) used the Amos 18.0.
The research results indicate that self-awareness factor has a factor loading 0.7941 (P-value 0.000 significant ≤ 0.05), self-control factor has a factor loading 0.7801 (P-value 0.000 significant ≤ 0.05), self-motivation factor has a load factor of 0.5056 (P-value 0.000 significant ≤ 0.05), empathy has a load factor of 0.7941 factor (P-value 0.000 significant ≤ 0.05), social skill factor has factor 0.7191 (P- value ≤ 0.05 0.000 significant).
