Abstract
INDONESIA:
Masa remaja merupakan segmen perkembangan individu yang sangat penting yaitu berada pada masa peralihan dari kanak-kanak ke dewasa. Dalam masa peralihan tersebut remaja dihadapkan pada berbagai perubahan baik perubahan fisik, kognitif dan psikososial. Masa remaja berada pada masa krisis yang kompleks, sehingga remaja diharapkan mampu menyelesaikan tugas perkembangannya baik secara pribadi maupun sosial dengan segala kelebihan dan kekurangannya. Remaja dengan pengalaman dan kesulitannya bila tidak dihadapi dengan pengelolaan terhadap diri sendiri dan mendapat bimbingan yang baik akan terkendala dalam mencapai kemandirian sebagai salah satu tugas perkembangan pada masa remaja. Pencapaian kemandirian dapat mendasari seseorang dalam menentukan sikap, mengambil keputusan, serta menentukan prinsip dalam menjalani hidup.
Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mengetahui tingkat regulasi diri peserta didik kelas XII di SMKN 1 Malang (2) untuk mengetahui tingkat kemandirian remaja peserta didik kelas XII di SMKN 1 Malang (3) untuk mengetahui hubungan antara regulasi diri dengan kemandirian remaja pada peserta didik kelas XII di SMKN 1 Malang.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif korelasional. Variabel bebas (x) regulasi diri dan variabel terikat (y) kemandirian remaja. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 25 % dari populasi yakni berjumlah 150 peserta didik kelas XII di SMKN 1 Malang yang dipilih menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Peneliti menggunakan metode kuisioner dalam pengumpulan data. Analisa keseluruhan komputasi data dilakukan dengan bantuan fasilitas komputer program SPSS 16.0 for windows.
Hasil menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Tingkat regulasi diri peserta didik kelas XII di SMKN 1 Malang berada pada kategori tinggi dengan prosentase 84,7 % (2) Tingkat kemandirian remaja pada peserta didik kelas XII di SMKN 1 Malang berada pada kategori tinggi dengan prosentase 98,7 % (3) Terdapat hubungan yang positif antara regulasi diri dengan kemandirian remaja dengan angka koefisien korelasi rxy sebesar 0.536 dengan taraf signifikansi (P) 0.000 (≤ 0.05).
ENGLISH:
The adolescence time is an individual development segment which is highly important namely in transition time from childhood to adult time. In the transitional time the Adolescents are faced to the several of physical, cognitive and psychosocial changes. The adolescence is in critical time which is complex, so that the Adolescents are expected to be able to carry out their developmental tasks both privately and also socially by their advantages and disadvantages. The Adolescents with their experiences and their difficulties if they are not faced by self management and having good guidance they will be restricted in finding their independency out as one of developmental tasks of adolescence time. The independence achievement can base someone in determining attitudes, decision making, and also to determine the principals in their life.
The objectives of the research are 1) to see the regulation level of the learning participants of grade XII of Public Vocational High School 1 Malang (2) to see the independence level of learning participant adolescents of Grade XII of Public Vocational High School 1 Malang (3) to see the relationship between the self regulation and adolescents’ independence of the learning participant adolescents of Grade XII of Public Vocational High School 1 Malang.
The method used in the research is correlation quantitative research. The independent variable (x) of self regulation and dependent variable (y) of the adolescents’ independence. The subjects of the research numbered as 25% of population namely as many as 150 learning participants of Grade XII of Public Vocational High School 1 Malang which are chosen using cluster random sampling technique. The researcher used the questioner method in data gathering. The entirely analysis of data computation was held aided by computer facilities of SPSS 16.0 for windows Program.
The research outcomes shows that : (1) The Self Regulation Level of the Learning Participants of Grade XII of Public Vocational High School 1 of Malang is in high category with percentage 84,7 % (2) The adolescents’ independence level for the learning participants of Grade XII of Public Vocational High School 1 Malang is in the high category with percentage 98,7 % (3) There is a positive relationship between the self regulation to the adolescents’ independence with correlation coefficient by significant correlation rxy amounted 0.536 with significant phase (P) 0.000 (≤ 0.05).
