Abstract

INDONESIA:

Terminal penumpang bandar udara adalah bangunan yang berfungsi sebagai penyedia fasilitas dan jasa transportasi penerbangan bagi penumpang. Perancangan objek ini memiliki tujuan utama yaitu perancangan terminal penumpang Bandar Udara Abdul Rachman Saleh Malang sehingga menjadi sebuah bandara komersial dengan skala penerbangan domestik dalam segi perancangan arsitektur dan penerapan tema high-tech architecture dan konsep dalam perancangan. Bandar udara komersial domestik merupakan bandar udara yang disediakan untuk masyarakat umum dan hanya melayani penerbangan dalam negeri(domestik).

Setelah melakukan analisis-analisis diambil sebuah konsep yang berusaha mewadahi keseluruhan dari aspek perancangan. Konsep dasar perancangan yang digunakan adalah “konsep biomorfik”. Yaitu konsep perancangan yang mengambil kolaborasi (kerjasama) antara manusia dengan alam sebagai bentuk ataupun sistem penyusun bangunan yang dipadukan dengan teknologi. Hal ini merupakan integrasi yang secara langsung dapat dikaitkan dengan tema high-tech dan wawasan keIslaman. Dengan sub konsep merupakan multifungsionalitas menurut Geoffrey Broadbent yang memiliki enam substansial penggolongan pembahasan, yaitu Aesthetic Function, Container of Activities, Environmental Filter, Behavior Modifier, Capital Investment dan Symbolic Function.

ENGLISH:

Airport Passenger Terminal is a building that serves as a provider facilities and transportation services for passenger flights. The design of this object has the overriding goal of designing Abdul Airport passenger terminal Rachman Saleh Malang to become a commercial airport with a scale Domestic flights in terms of architectural design and implementation of high-tech theme architecture and concepts in the design. Airport domestic commercial an airport that is provided for the general public and only serve domestic flights.

After doing analyzes taken a concept that trying to accommodate overall design aspect. The basic concept design was used "Biomorfik concept", namely the design concept that takes collaboration between man and nature as a form or system of building compilers combined with technology. This is an integration which are directly associated with high-tech theme and Islamic perspectives. With a sub concept is the multi-functionality by Geoffrey Broadbent has six substantial discussion of classification, namely Aesthetic Function, Container of Activities, Environmental Filter, Behavior Modifier, and Symbolic Capital Investment Function.
