Pengaruh problem based learning terintegrasi Think Talk Write terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa Kelas V SDN 3 Turen

Kemampuan komunikasi matematis merupakan salah satu keterampilan esensial abad ke-21 yang wajib dikuasai oleh siswa sekolah dasar dalam rangka mengomunikasikan gagasan matematika secara lisan maupun tulisan. Namun, pada pembelajaran matematika di SDN 3 Turen kemampuan tersebut cenderung rendah. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penerapan model pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan kemampuan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Problem Based Learning Terintegrasi Think Talk Write Terhadap Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa Kelas V SDN 3 Turen.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 32 siswa kelas V eksperimen dan 33 siswa kelas sebagai kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi.

Hasil pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji Mann Whitney yang menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001, yang lebih kecil dari taraf signifikansi α = 0,05, sehingga H₀ ditolak dan H₁ diterima. Dengan demikian, membuktikan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terintegrasi Think Talk Write berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas V SDN 3 Turen. Setiap tahapan integrasi model tersebut, mulai dari orientasi masalah (think), diskusi kelompok (talk), hingga penulisan hasil karya (write), terbukti berkontribusi pada peningkatan indikator komunikasi matematis siswa baik secara lisan maupun tulisan. Dengan demikian, model Problem Based Learning Terintegrasi Think Talk Write berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas V SDN 3 Turen.

Mathematical communication skills are one of the essential 21st-century skills that elementary school students must master in order to communicate mathematical ideas both orally and in writing. However, in mathematics instruction at SDN 3 Turen, these skills tend to be weak. Therefore, it is necessary to implement a learning model capable of improving these skills. This study aims to determine the effect of Integrated Problem-Based Learning with Think-Talk-Write on the Mathematical Communication Skills of Fifth-Grade Students at SDN 3 Turen.

This study employed a quasi-experimental quantitative approach using a nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of 32 fifth-grade students in the experimental group and 33 students in the control group. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, tests, and documentation.

The results of this study, analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U test, showed a significance value of 0.001, which is smaller than the significance level of α = 0.05; therefore, H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. Thus, this proves that the implementation of the integrated Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model with Think Talk Write significantly influences the mathematical communication skills of fifth-grade students at SDN 3 Turen. Each stage of the model’s integration—from problem orientation (think), group discussion (talk), to writing the final product (write)—was found to contribute to improvements in students’ mathematical communication indicators, both verbally and in writing. Thus, the Problem-Based Learning model integrated with Think Talk Write has an impact on the mathematical communication skills of fifth-grade students at SDN 3 Turen.

تُعدّ مهارات التواصل الرياضي من المهارات الأساسية في القرن الحادي والعشرين التي يجب على طلاب المرحلة الابتدائية إتقانها للتعبير عن الأفكار الرياضية شفهيًا وكتابيًا. مع ذلك، يميل مستوى هذه المهارات إلى الانخفاض في مدرسة تورين الابتدائية رقم 3. لذا، يُعدّ تطبيق نموذج تعليمي لتحسين هذه المهارات ضروريًا. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحديد أثر التعلّم القائم على حلّ المشكلات، المُدمج مع منهجية التفكير والتحدث والكتابة، على مهارات التواصل الرياضي لدى طلاب الصف الخامس في مدرسة تورين الابتدائية رقم 3.

استخدمت هذه الدراسة منهجًا كميًا شبه تجريبي، مع تصميم مجموعة ضابطة غير متكافئة. تألفت العينة من 32 طالبًا من طلاب الصف الخامس في المجموعة التجريبية، و33 طالبًا في المجموعة الضابطة. جُمعت البيانات من خلال الملاحظة والمقابلات والاختبارات والتوثيق.

أظهرت نتائج هذه الدراسة، باستخدام اختبار مان-ويتني، قيمة دلالة إحصائية قدرها 0.001، وهي أقل من مستوى الدلالة الإحصائية α = 0.05. لذلك، يُرفض الفرض H₀ ويُقبل الفرض H₁. وبالتالي، فإن تطبيق نموذج التعلم القائم على حل المشكلات، المُدمج مع أسلوب التفكير والتحدث والكتابة، له أثرٌ بالغٌ على مهارات التواصل الرياضي لدى طلاب الصف الخامس في مدرسة SDN 3 Turen الابتدائية. وقد ثبت أن كل مرحلة من مراحل دمج النموذج، بدءًا من تحديد المشكلة (التفكير)، مرورًا بالمناقشة الجماعية (التحدث)، وصولًا إلى كتابة نتائج العمل (الكتابة)، تُسهم في تحسين مؤشرات التواصل الرياضي لدى الطلاب، شفهيًا وكتابيًا. ومن ثم، فإن نموذج التعلم القائم على حل المشكلات المُدمج مع أسلوب التفكير والتحدث والكتابة يُؤثر إيجابًا على مهارات التواصل الرياضي لدى طلاب الصف الخامس في مدرسة SDN 3 Turen الابتدائية.
