Analisis tingkat literasi informasi siswa SMPN 8 Pujut berdasarkan tahapan model Big Six

SMPN 8 Pujut merupakan sekolah yang memiliki perpustakan sebagai salah satu pusat sumber informasi yang dimana perpustakaan tersebut masih memiliki kekurangan. Keberagaman sumber informasi di perpustakaan tersebut masih belum lengkap. Kondisi sumber informasi yang masih kurang beragam di perpustakaan sekolah dapat menjadi salah satu faktor yang berkaitan dengan perkembangan kemampuan literasi informasi siswa.berdasarkan hasil pra-penelitian siswa masih kurang mampu dalam beberapa tahapan literasi informasi. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengalisis tingkat literasi informasi berdasarkan tahapan model big six. Populasi dari kajian ini sebanyak 157 siswa SMPN 8 Pujut. Sampel diambil menggunakan probability sampling dengan rumus slovin, dengan eror 0,05 sehingga memeproleh sample sebanyak 113 responden. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menujukan kemampuan tingkat literasi informasi siswa SMPN 8 Pujut berdasarkan tahapan model big six berada pada katagori tinggi dengan grand mean sebesar 3,07 jika di ukur dari 6 indikator yang digunakan. Indikator tesesebut yaitu taks definition, information seeking strategies, location and access, use of information, Synthesis, dan evaluation. Hal ini berarti bahwa siswa telah memiliki kemampuan yang baik dalam mendefinisikan masalah, mencari, menemukan, menggunakan, menyusun, dan mengevaluasi informasi dalam proses penyelesaian tugas.

SMPN 8 Pujut is a school that provides a library as one of its primary information resource centers; however, the library still experiences several limitations. The diversity of information resources available in the library remains inadequate. The limited variety of information sources in the school library may be one of the factors influencing the development of students’ information literacy skills. Based on the preliminary study, students were found to have insufficient abilities in several stages of information literacy. This study aims to analyze the level of students’ information literacy based on the stages of the Big Six Model. The population of this study consisted of 157 students of SMPN 8 Pujut. The sample was determined using probability sampling with the Slovin formula and a margin of error of 0.05, resulting in 113 respondents. This study employed a descriptive quantitative method. The results revealed that the information literacy level of SMPN 8 Pujut students, based on the stages of the Big Six Model, was categorized as high, with a grand mean score of 3.07 across six indicators. These indicators include task definition, information seeking strategies, location and access, use of information, synthesis, and evaluation. The findings indicate that students possess good abilities in defining problems, searching for, locating, utilizing, organizing, and evaluating information in the process of completing academic tasks.

مراكز مصادر المعلومات، إلا أن هذه المكتبة ما تزال تعاني من بعض أوجه القصور، كما أن تنوّع مصادر المعلومات المتوافرة فيها لا يزال غير مكتمل. ويمكن أن يُعَدَّ محدودية تنوّع مصادر المعلومات في المكتبة المدرسية أحد العوامل المرتبطة بتطوّر مهارات الثقافة المعلوماتية لدى الطلاب. واستنادًا إلى نتائج الدراسة التمهيدية، تبيَّن أن الطلاب ما يزالون يواجهون ضعفًا في بعض مراحل الثقافة المعلوماتية. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل مستوى الثقافة المعلوماتية لدى الطلاب استنادًا إلى مراحل نموذج «الستة الكبار». وقد بلغ مجتمع الدراسة ١٥٧ طالبًا من طلاب مدرسة بوجوت الحكومية المتوسطة الثامنة. وتم اختيار العينة باستخدام أسلوب المعاينة الاحتمالية بالاعتماد على معادلة سلوفين بنسبة خطأ بلغت ٠٫٠٥، مما أسفر عن عينة مكوَّنة من ١١٣ مستجيبًا. واعتمدت الدراسة المنهج الكمي الوصفي. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن مستوى الثقافة المعلوماتية لدى طلاب مدرسة بوجوت الحكومية المتوسطة الثامنة، وفقًا لمراحل نموذج «الستة الكبار»، يقع ضمن الفئة المرتفعة، بمتوسط عام بلغ ٣٫٠٧، وذلك استنادًا إلى ستة مؤشرات مستخدمة في القياس. وتشمل هذه المؤشرات: تحديد المهمة، واستراتيجيات البحث عن المعلومات، وتحديد مواقع المعلومات والوصول إليها، واستخدام المعلومات، والتركيب، والتقويم. وتشير هذه النتائج إلى أن الطلاب يمتلكون قدرات جيدة في تحديد المشكلات، والبحث عن المعلومات، والعثور عليها، واستخدامها، وتنظيمها، وتقويمها في عملية إنجاز المهام الدراسية. الكلمات المفتاحية: الثقافة المعلوماتية، نموذج الستة الكبار، طلاب المرحلة المتوسطة
