Kajian Intertekstualitas dalam buku The Qur'anything karya Ismail Al-Ascholy

ABSTRAK

Salah satu fenomena yang menarik dalam perkembangan tafsir kontemporer adalah munculnya karya-karya tafsir yang menggunakan bahasa popular. Karya semacam ini biasanya ditujukan untuk menjangkau generasi muda yang hidup di era digital, di mana pola pikir dan cara beragama mereka cenderung berbeda dari generasi sebelumnya dikenal dengan sebutan generasi Z. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tafsir popular karya Ismail al-Ascholy yang berjudul The Qur’anything melalui kajian Intertekstualitasnya. Dari aspek karakteristik Intertekstualitas tersebut ditelaah bagaimana fungsi intertekstualitas terhadap pembentukan otoritas, corak penafsiran, dan karakteristik tafsir.
Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif berbentuk library research dengan pendekatan intertekstualitas. Data primer penelitian berupa buku The Qur’anything karya Ismail al-Ascholy. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan studi dokumentasi. Data yang sudah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis karakteristik intertekstualitas dengan sembilan prinsip gagasan Julia Kristeva. Dari proses tersebut, penelitian ini berupaya menyingkap fungsi intertekstualitas dalam pembentukan otoritas, corak penafsiran, dan karakteristik tafsir dalam buku The Qur’anything.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyampaian tafsir dalam buku The Qur’anything dikemas dengan bahasa popular, komunikastif, gaya bahasa ringan menggunakan metode tafsir ijmali. Di samping itu, corak tafsir yang diusung adalah adabi ijtimai, yang menekankan pada relevansi nilai-nilai al-Qur’an. Praktik intertekstualitas dalam buku The Qur’anything dengan membatasi analisis pada penafsiran QS. al-Fatihah, an-Nās, al-Falaq, dan al-Ikhlas memuat kutipan dari teks al-Qur;an, Hadis Shahih, kitab tafsir terdahulu, dan pernyataan para ulama. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dari keempat surah tersebut mencakup enam prinsip intertekstualitas, yaitu transformasi, medifikasi, paralel, ekspansi, haplologi, dan ekserp, sehingga penafsiran yang disampaikan tidak berdiri secara terpisah melainkan dibangun melalui keterkaitan dengan berbagai teks rujukan. Intertekstualitas dalam buku The Qur’anything membangun otoritas penafsiran melalui legitimasi ilmiah dari sumber-sumber yang diakui dalam tradisi keilmuan Islam, membentuk corak tafsir yang berorientasi dalam penyampaian nilai-nilai moral dan pesan kehidupan yang relevan bagi generasi muda, serta menghadirkan karakteristik tafsir yang ringkas, komunikatif, dan mudah dipahami, sehingga intertekstualitas tidak hanya mencerminkan hubungan antar teks, tetapi juga menjadi strategi penafsiran popular sesuai dengan kebutuhan pembaca kontemporer.

ABSTRACT

One of the most intriguing phenomena in the development of contemporary Quranic exegesis is the emergence of tafsir works written in popular language. Such works are typically aimed at reaching younger generations living in the digital era, whose ways of thinking and practicing religion tend to differ from those of previous generations, commonly referred to as Generation Z. This study aims to analyze the popular tafsir by Ismail al-Ascholy entitled The Qur'anything through the lens of intertextuality, examining how intertextuality functions in shaping the work's interpretive authority, exegetical tendency, and overall characteristics.
This study employs a qualitative research design in the form of library research with an intertextual approach. The primary data source is the book The Qur'anything by Ismail al-Ascholy, collected through documentary study. The collected data were then analyzed for their intertextual characteristics based on the nine principles proposed by Julia Kristeva. Through this process, the study seeks to uncover the function of intertextuality in shaping the interpretive authority, exegetical tendency, and characteristics of tafsir in The Qur'anything.
The results of the study indicate that the presentation of exegesis in the book The Qur’anything is presented in a popular, communicative, and accessible style using the ijmali method of exegesis. Furthermore, the approach to exegesis adopted is adabi ijtimai, which emphasizes the relevance of the values of the Qur’an. The practice of intertextuality in The Qur’anything, limited to the exegesis of Surahs al-Fatihah, an-Nas, al-Falaq, and al-Ikhlas, includes quotations from the Qur’anic text, authentic Hadith, earlier exegetical works, and statements by scholars. The analysis reveals that these four surahs encompass six principles of intertextuality: transformation, mediation, parallelism, expansion, haplology, and excerption. Consequently, the interpretations presented do not stand in isolation but are constructed through connections with various reference texts. Intertextuality in the book The Qur’anything establishes the authority of interpretation through the scholarly legitimacy of sources recognized within the Islamic scholarly tradition, shaping an interpretive style oriented toward conveying moral values and life messages relevant to the younger generation, and presenting an interpretive style that is concise, communicative, and easy to understand, so that intertextuality not only reflects the relationships between texts but also serves as a strategy for popular exegesis tailored to the needs of contemporary readers.

تعد ظاهرة ظهور كتب التفسير المكتوبة بلغة عامية من أكثر الظواهر إثارة للاهتمام في تطور علم التفسير المعاصر. وتستهدف هذه الأعمال عادةً الأجيال الشابة التي تعيش في العصر الرقمي، والتي تميل طرق تفكيرها وممارستها للدين إلى الاختلاف عن تلك التي اتبعتها الأجيال السابقة، وهي الأجيال التي يُشار إليها عادةً باسم «الجيل ز». تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل التفسير الشعبي لإسماعيل الأشولي بعنوان “The Qur'anything” من منظور التداخل النصي، ودراسة كيفية عمل التداخل النصي في تشكيل السلطة التفسيرية للعمل، واتجاهه التفسيري، وخصائصه العامة.
تستخدم هذه الدراسة تصميمًا بحثيًا نوعيًا في شكل بحث مكتبي مع اتباع نهج بين النصوص. ومصدر البيانات الأساسي هو كتاب “The Qur'anything” لإسماعيل الأشولي، الذي تم جمع البيانات منه من خلال الدراسة الوثائقية. ثم تم تحليل البيانات المجمعة من حيث خصائصها النصية بناءً على المبادئ التسعة التي اقترحتها جوليا كريستيفا. ومن خلال هذه العملية، تسعى الدراسة إلى الكشف عن وظيفة النصية في تشكيل السلطة التفسيرية، والاتجاه التفسيري، وخصائص التفسير في كتاب “The Qur'anything”.
