Abstract
INDONESIA:
ENGLISH:
Generally in the world of criminals is to expose crimes g done using fingerprint identification. The role of the fingerprint has a level of credibility (about who can be trusted) is high and meets the criteria of reliability (precision and accuracy), so it can be used as evidence. Data of fingerprints that found at the crime scene (the scene) is always distorted. Classification of distortion can be divided into five categories: oily, dry, dirty, partially, and rotation. In this study discusses the partial and rotational distortion by using geometric transformation and zhang Suen methods. The purpose of this study was to measure the level of accuracy that was resulted from the process of identifying the fingerprint was distorted. So in this study resulted in an accuracy rate of 4 categories: 8 top results of accuracy rate of 83.3%, 4 top results of accuracy rate of 66.7%, and 1 top result of accuracy rate of 48, 3%, with a search in one experiment of 5 min 53 second of 20 people of the test data and each of at least three fingerprint image.
