تصور العالم والهوية والتمثيل الثقافي في رواية ’’حِمَارُ الحَكِيم‘‘ لتوفيق الحكيم: دراسة في أدب الرحلات لكارل طومبسون

لقد بدأت رحلة بشرية إلى عدة أجزاء من العالم منذ قرون. على طول الرحلة، يجد الأفراد باستمرار مساحات جديدة كشيء جديد، خاصة بالنسبة لأولئك الذين يقومون برحلة ما. وغالبًا ما تنطوي الرحلة على ضرورة التكيف مع الآخرين، سواء كانوا أشخاص جدد أو بيئات جديدة. وغالبًا ما تُظهر الكتابات تصوير العالم، وكشف الهوية، وتمثيل الثقافة كأشكال من الفخر والتميز في روايات الرحلة. وبالتالي، تهدف هذا البحث إلى استكشاف تصوير العالم، ومعرفة وصف الهوية، وفهم التمثيل الثقافي الذي تم روايته في رواية ’’حِمَار الحكيم‘‘. هذا البحث هي بحث نوعي باستخدام أسلوب البحث المكتبي (library research) مع مصدر البيانات الأولية وهو رواية ’’حِمَار الحكيم‘‘ لتوفيق الحكيم (نشرت من قبل مكتبة مصر، 1990، 147 صفحة) ومصادر البيانات الثانوية من الأدبيات ذات الصلة. إن تقنية جمع البيانات في هذا البحث هي القراءة والتسجيل. بينما يتم تحليل البيانات باستخدام نموذج تحليل مايلز وهوبرمان ونظرية أدب الرحلات لكارل طومبسون.

تظهر نتائج هذا البحث تصوير العالم في رواية ’’حِمَار الحكيم‘‘ لتوفيق الحكيم، وتشمل: 1) تصوير واقع العالم؛ 2) توصيف المجتمع في المكان الذي تمت زيارته؛ 3) ربط القارئ بالمكان. وفيما يتعلق برواية ’’حِمَار الحكيم‘‘، تظهر سمات عامة في أدب الرحلات، وهي محاولة لدمج العالم الخارجي بالعالم الداخلي للكاتب. غالبًا ما تقدم السرد فيها صورة للعالم بشكل موضوعي، على الرغم من أنها لا تزال تتأثر بمنظور المؤلف الذاتي. علاوة على ذلك، عند التعبير عن هوية المؤلف، وجدت الباحثة بعض الأنماط تتضمن: 1) المشاعر التي عاشها المؤلف؛ 2) الصراع الداخلي؛ 3) تغيير وجهة النظر؛ و4) الوعي الذاتي. في هذا السياق، كتب توفيق الحكيم عملًا رحليًا من منظور الشخص الأول بأسلوب سردي سيرة ذاتية. تُعتبر الرحلة التي قام بها الحكيم وسيلة للتأمل الذاتي واكتساب دروس حياة قيمة. ثم، يتم تمثيل الثقافة في رواية ’’حِمَار الحكيم‘‘ للكاتب توفيق الحكيم من خلال: 1) تمثيل الجنس؛ 2) تمثيل علاقات القوة بين السائح والمجتمع المحلي؛ 3) تمثيل الطبقات الاجتماعية في المجتمع؛ 4) تمثيل ثقافة الخصخصة، و5) تمثيل دونية الشرقية أمام الغرب. تظهر نتائج هذه الاكتشافات وجود ممارسة "الآخرين" في أعمال أدب الرحلات. في هذا الصدد، لا يكتفي كاتب الرحلة بوصف الأماكن والثقافات التي يزورهن، بل يُساهم أيضًا في تشكيل وجهة نظر القارئ تجاه تلك الثقافة.

ENGLISH:

A journey of humanity to various parts of the world has begun centuries ago. Throughout the journey, individuals consistently discover new spaces as something refreshing, especially for those who undertake a journey. Travel often involves oneself in constantly adapting to others, whether they are new people or new environments. The depiction of the world, the revelation of identity, and cultural representation are often portrayed by writers as forms of the richness and uniqueness of travel novels. Therefore, this research aims to examine reporting of the world, revealing the author's identity, and know the cultural representation narrated in the novel 'Himār Al-Hakīm'. This research is qualitative, utilizing library research methods with primary data sources from the novel 'Himār Al-Hakīm' by Taufiq Al-Hakim (published by Maktabah Misr, 1990, 147 pages) and secondary data sources from related literature. The data collection technique in this research is reading and note-taking. Meanwhile, the data analysis is conducted using the Miles and Huberman analytical model and Carl Thompson's Travel Writing theory.

The results of this study show that reporting the world in the novel 'Himar Al-Hakim' by Taufiq Al-Hakim includes: 1) reporting of the reality of the world; 2) the depiction of the society in the places visited; 3) the relationship between the reader and the place. In this regard, the novel Himār Al-Hakīm shows common characteristics in travel literature, namely the effort to combine the outside world with the inner world of the author. The narration often presents a picture of the world objectively, although still influenced by the author's subjectivity. Furthermore, in expressing the author's identity, the researcher found several patterns including: 1) feelings experienced by the author; 2) inner conflict; 3) changes in perspective; and 4) self-awareness. In this case, Taufiq Al-Hakim writes travel works using the first-person perspective with an autobiographical storytelling style. The journey undertaken by Al-Hakim serves as a means for self-reflection and gaining valuable life lessons. Furthermore, the cultural representation in the novel 'Himar Al-Hakim' by Taufiq Al-Hakim is illustrated by, 1) representing gender; 2) representing power relations between travelers and local communities; 3) representing social hierarchy; 4) representing the culture of privatization; and 5) representing the eastern inferiority to the west. The findings indicate the presence of 'othering' practices in travel literature. In this case, a travel writer not only depicts the places and cultures they visit, but also shapes the readers' perspectives of those cultures.

Suatu perjalanan manusia ke beberapa belahan dunia sudah dimulai sejak berabad-abad yang lalu. Sepanjang perjalanan, individu secara konsisten menemukan ruang baru sebagai sesuatu yang segar, terutama bagi mereka yang melakukan suatu perjalanan. Perjalanan seringkali melibatkan diri untuk selalu beradaptasi dengan yang lain, bisa jadi orang baru atau lingkungan baru. Penggambaran dunia, pengungkapan identitas, dan representasi budaya seringkali ditunjukkan oleh penulis sebagai bentuk kelebihan dan keunikan novel perjalanan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penggambaran dunia, mengetahui gambaran identitas penulis, dan mengetahui representasi budaya yang dinarasikan dalam novel “Himār Al-Hakīm”. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan sumber data primer berupa novel “Himār Al-Hakīm” karya Taufiq Al-Hakim (diterbitkan oleh Maktabah Misr, 1990, 147 hlm) dan sumber data sekunder dari literatur terkait. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah baca dan catat. Sementara, analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan model analisis Miles dan Huberman serta teori Sastra Perjalanan Carl Thompson.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan penggambaran dunia dalam novel “Himar Al-Hakim” karya Taufiq Al-Hakim meliputi: 1) penggambaran realitas dunia; 2) penggambaran tentang masyarakat di tempat yang dikunjungi; 3) hubungan antara pembaca dengan tempat. Dalam hal novel Himār Al-Hakīm menunjukkan ciri khas umum dalam sastra perjalanan, yaitu upaya untuk menggabungkan dunia luar dengan dunia batin penulis. Narasi di dalamnya sering menyajikan gambaran dunia secara objektif, meskipun tetap dipengaruhi oleh perspektif subjektif penulis. Selanjutnya, dalam mengungkapkan identitas penulis, peneliti menemukan beberapa pola meliputi: 1) Perasaan yang dialami penulis; 2) konflik batin; 3) perubahan cara pandang; dan 4) kesadaran diri. Dalam hal ini, Taufiq Al-Hakim menulis karya perjalanan dengan menggunakan sudut pandang orang pertama dengan gaya bercerita autobiografis. Perjalanan yang dilalui Al-Hakim menjadi sarana untuk refleksi diri dan memperoleh pelajaran hidup yang berharga. Kemudian, representasi budaya dalam novel “Himar Al-Hakin” karya Taufiq Al-Hakim ditunjukkan dengan, 1) merepresentasikan gender; 2) merepresentasikan relasi kuasa antara pelancong dan masyarakat lokal; 3) merepresentasikan tingkatan sosial masyarakat; 4) merepresentasikan budaya swastanisasi, dan 5) merepresentasikan inferioritas timur dari barat. Dari hasil temuan tersebut menunjukkan adanya praktik “othering” dalam karya sastra perjalanan. Dalam hal ini eorang penulis perjalanan tidak hanya menggambarkan tempat dan budaya yang ia kunjungi, tetapi juga turut membentuk cara pandang pembaca terhadap budaya tersebut.
