Hubungan kadar low density lipoprotein (LDL) pada kejadian ulkus diabetik di Rumah Sakit Umum Karsa Husada Batu

Ulkus Diabetik merupakan sebuah penyakit akibat dari perjalanan penyakit DM yang berhubungan dengan neuropati dan iskemia serta penyembuhannya sering dipersulit oleh infeksi. Aterosklerosis merupakan penyebab utama penyakit pembuluh darah perifer pada DM dimana LDL yang berfungsi untuk mengangkut kolesterol ke sel perifer juga bertanggung jawab terhadap timbulnya aterosklerosis. Kejadian Diabetes Mellitus disertai ulkus diabetik di RSU Karsa Husada Batu pada tahun 2020 - 2023 sebanyak 105 kasus. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk untuk mengetahui hubungan kadar Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL) Pada Kejadian Ulkus Diabetik di Rumah Sakit Umum Karsa Husada Batu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analititk dengan memperoleh data dari rekam medis rumah sakit. Desain penelitian ini berupa cross sectional dengan jumlah sampel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi sebanyak 41 pasien. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan teknik non probability sampling jenis purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat dan bivariat. Analisis data bivariat menggunakan uji Chi Square dengan p-value 0,000. Sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa terdapat hubungan secara signifikan antara kadar LDL dengan kejadian ulkus diabetik.

Diabetic Ulcer is a disease resulting from the course of DM disease associated with neuropathy and ischemia and its healing is often complicated by infection. Atherosclerosis is the main cause of peripheral vascular disease in DM where LDL which functions to transport cholesterol to peripheral cells is also responsible for the onset of atherosclerosis. The incidence of Diabetes Mellitus accompanied by diabetic ulcers at Karsa Husada Batu Hospital in 2020 - 2023 was 105 cases. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL) levels and the incidence of Diabetic Ulcers at Karsa Husada Batu General Hospital. This study is an analytical observational study by obtaining data from hospital medical records. The design of this study was cross-sectional with a sample size that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria of 41 patients. The data collection technique used a non-probability sampling technique, purposive sampling type. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis. Bivariate data analysis used the Chi Square test with a p-value of 0.000. So it can be stated that there is a significant relationship between LDL levels and the incidence of diabetic ulcers.
