Pembunuhan adalah kejahatan atau pelanggaran hukum yang dapat menyebabkan kematian seseorang dengan sengaja atau tidak sengaja. Peristiwa pembunuhan dilatarbelakangi oleh berbagai macam sebab yang menyebabkan seseorang merencanakan, memutuskan dan mengeksekusi tindakan pembunuhan terhadap korban. Selama ini pengungkapan tindak pembunuhan berjalan tidak cukup mudah, polisi yang diberi kewenangan untuk melakukan investigasi baik penyelidikan maupun penyidikan diharapkan mampu untuk mengungkap suatu kasus pembunuhan yang terjadi di masyarakat.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan tentang pertimbangan penyidik dalam penggunaan metode dalam menginvestigasi suatu kasus pembunuhan pada pembuatan profil kriminal. Kasus pembunuhan yang ditangani oleh tim penyidik yang terjadi di wilayah Polres Trenggalek berjumlah dua kasus yang terjadi di tahun 2021 dan 2022.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, model investigasi yang dilakukan oleh penyidik di Polres Trenggalek menggunakan menggunakan metode interogasi (pemeriksaan) dan dengan menggunakan metode SCI (Scientifict Crime Investigation) yang dalam penerapannya dibutuhkan adanya data dari hasil otopsi jenazah korban.

Murder is a crime or violation of the law that can cause the death of a person intentionally or unintentionally. Murder is motivated by various reasons that cause someone to plan, decide and execute the act of killing the victim. So far, the disclosure of murder has not been easy, the police who are authorized to conduct investigations both investigations and investigations are expected to be able to reveal a murder case that occurs in the community.

This study aims to describe the considerations of investigators in investigating a murder case to map the psychological factors considered in criminal profiling of murder cases and to find out about the obstacles faced by investigators in investigating a murder case. The murder cases handled by the investigating team that occurred in the Trenggalek Police area amounted to two cases that occurred in 2021 and 2022.

Based on the results of the research, the investigation model carried out by investigators at Trenggalek Police Station uses the primary scene method in which there is interrogation (examination) and by using the secondary scene method where there is SCI (Scientific Crime Investigation) which in its application requires data from the autopsy results of the victim's body.

شرطة ترغالِك )Trenggalek( حالتين وقعتا في عامي ٢٠٢١ و ٢٠٢٢.
بناءً على نتائج البحث، فإن نموذج التحقيق الذي اتبعه المحققون في شرطة ترغالِك )Trenggalek(

استخدم طريقة مسرح الجريمة الأولي التي تتضمن الاستجواب )الفحص(، وòستخدام طريقة مسرح الجريمة الثانوي حيث يوجد تحقيق علمي في الجريمة SCI) Scientifict Crime Investigation( والذي يتطلب في
تطبيقه وجود بياöت من نتائج تشريح جثة الضحية.
