Pengembangan buku ajar berbasis karakter untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep pada materi musim hujan kelas I SDN 02 Merjosari Malang

Pengembangan buku ajar tematik berbasis karakter adalah salah satu sarana guna memudahkan pembelajaran tematik, fakta dilapangan berdasarkan hasil observasi di SDN 02 Merjosari Malang. Belum ada buku ajar berbasis karakter. Bahan ajar ini menjelaskan tentang Musim hujan yang mana memudahkan siwa dalam pembelajaran. Dan memberikan buku ajar yang baru bagi siswa. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan buku ajar tematik berbasis karakter di atas sangat diperlukan.

Pengembangan buku ajar ini memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa melalui bahan ajar berbasis karakter sehingga memudahkan siswa untuk memperdalam pemahaman subtema musim hujan. Di dalam pengembangan buku ajar ini dikaitkan dengan karakter rasa ingin tau, gemar membaca diharapkan siswa-siswa dapat menggunakan dalam kehidupan siswa sehari-hari.

Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah deskriptif dengan analisis data secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Reserch and Development, yang mengacu pada model Dick and Carrey.

Hasil dari penelitian pengembangan bahan ajar tematik berbasis karakter memenuhi kriteria menarik dengan hasil uji ahli isi mencapai tingkat kelayakan 82%, ahli media mencapai 82,2%, praktisi pembelajaran mencapai 97,5%, dan hasil uji coba lapangan mencapai 98%, hasil belajar siswa rata-rata nilai post-test kelas kontrol 79,9dan nilai post-test kelas eksperimen 85,45. Pada uji-t manual dengan tingkat kemaknaan 0,05 diperoleh hasil t hitung > t tabel yaitu 15,79 > 2,021 artinya Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan bahan ajar tematik berbasis karakter dengan yang tidak menggunakan bahan ajar tematik berbasis karakter.

Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan memiliki kualifikasi tingkat kelayakan, sehingga bahan ajar layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Forms of research used by the researchers was a descriptive analysis of qualitative and quantitative data. This type of research is Research and Development, which refers to the model of Dick and Carrey.

Results of the research development of teaching materials based thematic interesting character meet the criteria with the results of the expert test the feasibility of the contents reached 82% level. reaching 82.2% of media experts, practitioners learning reached 97.5%, and the results of field trials reached 98%, the result of learning student average post-test score 79,9 and value control class post-test experimental class 85.45. In the t-test with a significance level of 0.05 manual obtained the t count > t table ie 15.79 > 2.021 means that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. Thus, there is a significant difference to the learning outcomes of students who use the character-based thematic teaching materials by not using character-based thematic teaching materials.
