Rencana revitalisasi dan pengembangan wisata Candi Jiwa di Karawang ini diungkap Kepala Disparbud Jabar Benny Bachtiar saat meninjau ke lokasi tersebut pada Jumat, 10 Maret 2023. Kepala Disparbud Jabar mengatakan, revitalisasi komplek cagar budaya Candi Jiwa yang merupakan salah satu bangunan candi tertua di Indonesia ini dilakukan untuk mewujudkan konsep wisata malam. Benny Bachtiar berharap nantinya Candi Jiwa akan semakin diminati wisatawan untuk dikunjungi. “Kami berharap dengan direvitalisasi, Candi Jiwa ini akan memberikan dampak positif bagi perekonomian masyarakat sekitar,apalagi kami merencanakan pembangunan wisata Candi Jiwa ini dengan konsep wisata malam dengan permainan lampu dan sebagainya sebagai salah satu daya tarik tersendiri" ucap Benny usai mengunjungi kawasan cagar budaya di Karawang tersebut.

Perancangan wisata malam sebagai revitalisasi Candi Jiwa dengan konsep arsitektur neo vernakular guna meningkatkan ekonomi kreatif dan pelestarian budaya asli karawang.Pendekatan Arsitektur Neo Vernakular dirasa sejalan dengan tujuan utama yaitu pelestarian sejarah dan budaya dalam konteks Peninggalan Candi Jiwa itu sendiri, karena Neo Vernakular merupakan pendekatan yang mengangkat lokalitas menuju suatu yang lebih modern atau maju tanpa mengesampingkan nilai-nilai tradisi setempat.

Karawang Cultural Light, Merupakan konsep desain yang bertujuan menghidupkan kembali wisata sejarah Candi Jiwa dan budaya lokal Karawangan dengan membawa suasana baru pada permainan lampu dan candi. Menjadikan alam sebagai element utama dan mendorong kebersamaan dalam keharmonisan pada perancangannya.
