ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk interaksi simbolik dalam novel “Roaitu Ramallah” karya Mourid Barghouti berdasarkan perspektif George Herbert Mead. Penelitian ini termasuk kedalam penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data primer yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah novel “Roaitu Ramallah” karya Mourid Barghouti, sedangkan sumber data sekunder didapatkan dari artikel, jurnal, dan buku-buku yang relevan dengan tema penelitian. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik baca dan teknik catat. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah : (1) konsep mind pada tahap gestur; symbol penguatan terhadap musibah, simbol kesabaran atas penantian, dan simbol kebanggaan atas pencapaian. Tahap simbol; simbol kebingungan atas sebuah keputusan, simbol pelampiasan kemarahan, dan simbol kekesalan. Tahap makna; simbol kekhawatiran, simbol kesabaran terhadap penantian, dan simbol kebahagiaan. Tahap tindakan; simbol keberanian memperjuangkan hak, simbol kepedulian Terhadap Orang lain, (2) konsep self tahap diri; simbol kekesalan, simbol kecerdasan dalam bertindak. Tahap menemukan jati diri; simbol kecerdasan, simbol penghormatan, (3) konsep society pada tahap masyarakat; simbol kebijaksanaan dalam mengambil keputusan, simbol sapaan. Tahap konflk; simbol kemanusiaan, simbol pengalaman, simbol kecerdasan. Tahap simpati; simbol kemanusiaan.

ABSTRACT

This study aims to determine the forms of symbolic interaction in the novel "Roaitu Ramallah" by Mourid Barghouti based on the perspective of George Herbert Mead. This research is included in qualitative research. The primary data source used in the research is the novel "Roaitu Ramallah" karya Mourid Barghouti, while the secondary data source is obtained from articles, journals, and books relevant to the research theme. Data analysis techniques in this study used reading techniques and recording techniques. The results of this study are: (1) the concept of mind at the gesture stage; A symbol of strengthening against calamity, a symbol of patience over waiting, and a symbol of pride in achievement. Symbol stage; a symbol of confusion over a decision, a symbol of anger, and a symbol of annoyance. Stage of meaning; a symbol of worry, a symbol of patience with waiting, and a symbol of happiness. Action stage; a symbol of courage to fight for rights, a symbol of concern for others, (2) the concept of self-stage; a symbol of annoyance, a symbol of intelligence in action. The stage of self-discovery; a symbol of intelligence, a symbol of respect, (3) the concept of society at the stage of society; a symbol of wisdom in making decisions, a symbol of greeting. Conflict stage; a symbol of humanity, a symbol of experience, a symbol of intelligence. Sympathy stage; symbol of humanity.
