Tradisi “Manten Ambruk” dalam perspektif Urf: Studi kasus di Desa Ngancar, Kecamatan Ngancar, Kabupaten Kediri

ABSTRAK

Tradisi “Manten Ambruk” merupakan praktik budaya yang masih dilestarikan di Desa Ngancar, Kecamatan Ngancar, Kabupaten Kediri, meskipun memiliki implikasi yang kompleks dalam konteks hukum Islam dan konsep keluarga sakinah menurut Buya Hamka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan tradisi “Manten Ambruk” di Desa Ngancar, menganalisis tradisi ini berdasarkan konsep urf dalam hukum Islam.

Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara dengan tokoh agama dan masyarakat setempat, serta studi literatur terkait. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tradisi “Manten Ambruk” memiliki aspek-aspek yang bertentangan dengan nilai-nilai agama Islam dan prinsip-prinsip keluarga sakinah. Namun, tradisi ini tetap dilestarikan oleh masyarakat setempat sebagai bagian dari warisan budaya mereka.

Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tradisi “Manten Ambruk” termasuk dalam kategori urf amali, yang berarti tradisi ini merupakan bagian dari kebiasaan atau praktik yang dilakukan dalam masyarakat sehari-hari. Namun, ketika dilihat dari perspektif hukum Islam, pelaksanaan tradisi “Manten Ambruk” dianggap sebagai urf fasid, karena melanggar norma-norma agama terkait batasan aurat dan interaksi antara calon pengantin laki-laki dan perempuan sebelum pernikahan sah. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya penyesuaian dalam pelaksanaan tradisi ini agar lebih sejalan dengan nilai-nilai agama Islam dan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pembentukan masyarakat yang lebih taat dan harmonis secara spiritual dan sosial yang berarti tradisi ini tidak mematuhi prinsip-prinsip hukum syariah atau ajaran Islam.

ABSTRACT

The "Manten Ambruk" tradition is a cultural practice that is still preserved in Ngancar Village, Ngancar District, Kediri Regency, even though it has complex implications in the context of Islamic law and the concept of the sakinah family according to Buya Hamka. This research aims to describe the implementation of the "Manten Ambruk" tradition in Ngancar Village, analyzing this tradition based on the concept of urf in Islamic law.

The research method used is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Data was collected through direct observation, interviews with religious and local community leaders, as well as study of related literature. The results of the analysis show that the Manten Ambruk tradition has aspects that conflict with Islamic religious values and the principles of the sakinah family. However, this tradition is still preserved by the local community as part of their cultural heritage.

The results of the analysis show that the Manten Ambruk tradition is included in the urf amali category, which means this tradition is part of the habits or practices carried out in everyday society. However, when viewed from the perspective of Islamic law, the implementation of the Manten Ambruk tradition is considered urf fasid, because it violates religious norms regarding the boundaries of private parts and interactions between the prospective groom and bride before a legal marriage. Therefore, this research recommends the need for adjustments in the implementation of this tradition so that it is more in line with Islamic religious values and can make a positive contribution to the formation of a more spiritually and socially obedient and harmonious society, which means that this tradition does not comply with the principles of sharia law. or Islamic teachings.
