Abstract

ABSTRAK

Salah satu upaya menanamkan karakter jujur dan disiplin adalah pendidikan karakter. Pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter melalui pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani dan Olahraga diyakini merupakan instrument yang efektif untuk mendidik kaum muda, terutama dalam hal nilai-nilai. Madrasah Ibtida’iyah Raudatul Munadhirin merupakan lembaga pendidikan yang menerapkan penanaman nilai-nilai karakter disekolah. Lembaga tersebut telah meraih sejumlah prestasi baik dari segi akademik maupun non akademik.

Adapun tujuan penelitian ini pertama, mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan internalisasi karakter jujur dan disiplin melalui pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani dan Olahraga di Madrasah Ibtida’iyah Raudatul Munadhirin Probolinggo. Kedua, mengetahui bagaimana wujud karakter jujur dan disiplin yang terbentuk melalui pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani dan Olahraga di Madrasah Ibtida’iyah Raudatul Munadhirin Probolinggo. Ketiga, mengetahui apa saja hambatan-hambatan dan upaya mengatasinya dalam internalisasi karakter jujur dan disiplin melalui pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani dan Olahraga di Madrasah Ibtida’iyah Raudatul Munadhirin Probolinggo.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara mendalam, pengamatan, dokumentasi. Untuk memperoleh keabsahan data digunakan langkah-langkah ketekunan pengamatan dan triangulasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Pelaksanaan Internalisasi Karakter Jujur dan Disiplin melalui pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani dan olahraga dilaksanakan melalui pengintegrasian dalam pembelajaran, pembiasaan diluar kegiatan pembelajaran. (2) wujud karakter jujur yang terbentuk yaitu: a) Menyampaikan kebenaran, b) Mengakui kesalahan atau kekurangan keterampilan yang dimiliki, c) Tidak bermain curang dalam pertandingan atau permainan, d) Berani mengakui kesalahan saat bermain, e) Mengakui keberhasilan orang lain dan menerima kekalahan dengan lapang dada, f) Dapat dipercaya dalam satu tim. Sedangkan untuk wujud karakter disiplin yang telah terbentuk mencerminkan disiplin waktu, disiplin menegakkan aturan dan disiplin sikap. Berikut wujud disiplin yang terbentuk yaitu: a) Datang tepat pada waktunya, b) Menyelesaikan tugas tepat pada waktunya, c) Mengikuti seluruh kegiatan pembelajaran dengan baik, d) Menggunakan seragam dengan rapi, e) Mengikuti aturan permainan yang dibuat dengan baik, 6)Tidak meniru temannya yang melanggar aturan, f) Siswa tidak mudah marah atau tersinggung, g) Tidak ramai saat pembelajaran. (3) hambatan dan upaya upaya mengatasinya dalam internalisasi karakter jujur, dan disiplin melalui pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani dan Olahraga adalah pengaruh lingkungan luar sekolah, dimana pendidikan masyarakat sekitar masih tergolong rendah sehingga dalam berprilaku kurang memperhatikan dampak terhadap karakter anak yang berakibat anak-anak yang karakternya sudah baik dapat menjadi kurang baik. Adapun upaya mengatasi dengan memberi masukan, arahan, nasihat dan motivasi kepada anak agar tidak terpengaruh lingkungan yang kurang baik diluar sekolah serta rutin mengadakan rapat wali murid guna mengajak bekerjasama dan berdiskusi membahas bagaimana menyiakapi agar perkembangan karakter anak kearah yang lebih baik.

ABSTRACT

One effort to do honesty and discipline character is character education. Implementation of character education through the learning of physical education and sport is believed to be an effective instrument to educate young people, especially in terms of values islamic elementary school Raudatul Munadhirin is an educational institution that implements the character values in school. The institution has won a nuber achievements in terms of both academic and non-academic.

The first goal of this research, find out how the implementation of the internalization of honest character and discipline through study of physical education and sport in Islamic elementary school raudatul munadhirin probolinggo. Second, know how to form an honest character and discipline are formed through learning of physical education and sport in islamic elementary school raudatul munadhirin probolinggo. Third, find out what are the constraints and efforts to solve the internalization of honest character and discipline through study of physical education and sport in Islamic elementary school raudatul munadhirin probolinggo.

This study used a qualitative approach with case study desigh. Data was collected by means of in-depth interviews, observation, documentation. To obtain the validity of the data used measures of observation perseverance and triangulation. Data analysis technique was done by means of data collection, data reduction, data presentation dan conclusion. The findings showed that (1) implementation of the internalization of honest character and discipline through physical and sport learning implemented through the integration of learning, habituation beyond learning activities. (2) a form of honest character were formed, namely: a) Conveying the truth, b) Admitting a mistake or lack of skills possessed, c) do not cheat in a game or game, d) daring to admit mistakes while playing, e) recognizing the success of others and accepting defeat gracefully, f) trustworthy team. As for the form of the character of discipline that has been formed reflects the time discipline, rules enforcing disciplinary and attitude disciplinary. Here were a form of discipline which was formed as follows: a) coming just in time, b) completing the task on time, c) following entire learning activities well, d) using uniform neatly, e) following the rules of the game were made, f) students were not easily upset or offended, g) not crowded during lessons. (3) efforts to overcome obstacles and attempts to internalize the value of honest character and discipline through of physical and sport was the influence of the environment schools outside, where the communities education were still relatively low so the behave less attention to the impact on the character of child resulting in children who have good character may not be good. As for efforts to cope with providing input, guidance, advice and motivation to children were not affected by the unfavorable environment outside of school as well as parents regularly held meetings to encourage collaboration and discuss in order to discuss how to respond to children’s character development better.
