Abstract
ABSTRAK
Kepala sekolah memiliki peran dan fungsi yang sangat penting dalam lembaga pendidikan, karena sebagai pemimpin mempunyai tanggung jawab penuh terhadap lembaga yang dipimpinnya. Tesis ini membahas tentang strategi Kepala Sekolah dalam mengembangkan budaya religius di SMA Negeri 1 Sumberpucung Kabupaten Malang. Agama adalah sebagai sistem keyakinan, sistem nilai, sistem simbol, sistem perilaku yang terlembagakan, yang semua itu berpusat pada persoalan yang dihayati sebagai hal yang paling maknawi.Tujuan pendidikan agama Islam pada jenjang sekolah dasar dan menengah antara lain; mewujudkan manusia Indonesia yang taat beragama dan berakhlak mulia, yaitu manusia Indonesia yang berpengetahuan, rajin beribadah, cerdas, produktif, jujur, adil, etis, disiplin bertoleransi, menjaga keharmonisan secara personal dan sosial serta melaksanakan budaya religius dalam komunitas sekolah.Dengan demikian pengembangan agama sebagai budaya religius sekolah telah memperoleh legalitas yang kuat. Kepala sekolah dalam rangka kemajuan lembaganya harus mempunyai strategi untuk mengembangkan budaya religius dan kemampuan untuk membangkitkan semangat, kerja interpersonil, mampu menciptakan iklim dan suasana kondusif, religius, aman, nyaman, tentram dan damai,sehingga tercapai tujuan pendidikan.
Atas dasar itu penelitian ini di fokuskan kepada strategi kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan budaya religius di SMAN 1 Sumberpucung Kabupaten Malang, bertujuan untuk (1)menjelaskan budaya religius di SMAN 1 Sumberpucung, (2) menjelaskan strategi kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan budaya religius.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan rancangan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul tersebut di analisis dengan menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1)Realitas budaya religius di SMAN 1 Sumberpucung (a)Akhlakul Karimah, (b)bimbingan baca tulis Al Qur’an, (c)membaca do’a sebelum pelajaran, (d)Pelaksanaan shalat dhuhur berjama’ah,(e)Pelaksanaan shalat Jum’at, (f)peringatan hari besar Islam, (g)memakai busana muslim di bulan ramadhan, (h)pembiasaan senyum dan salam, (i)budaya amal jariyah/shodaqoh. (2) Strategi Kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan budaya religius meliputi: (a)perencanaan program, (b)memberi teladan kepada warga sekolah, (c)kemitraan dan andil dalam kegiatan, (d)Internalisasi Nilai, (e)pembiasaan dan (f)evaluasi program yang di jalankan.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disarankan (1)untuk kepala sekolah untuk mempertahankan dan meningkatkan budaya religius dengan kontiyu sebagai wujud aktualisasi terhadap ajaran Islam, (2)para pengelola pendidikan hendaknya mengadakan reorientasi program pendidikan yang diarahkan kepada budaya religius di sekolah, (3)bagi Dinas pendidikan hendaknya meningkatkan berpartisipasi dengan memberi dukungannya baik materiil dan moril, (4)peneliti yang lain untuk dapatnya dilakukan penelitian lanjutan yang mampu mengungkapkan lebih dalam tentang budaya religius di sekolah.
ABSTRACT
Principal roles and functions are important in educational institutions, because the leader has full authority to his leaded institute agency. The Management strategy handled by the principal in the field of Islamic religious education is to develop a religious culture in the school environment. Religion is a system of beliefs, value system, a system of symbols, the system of institutionalized behavior, all of which centered on the problems experienced as things most meaningful . The purpose of Islamic religious education in primary and secondary school levels, among others; Indonesia manifest a religious human and the noble, the Indonesian people are knowledgeable, diligent prayer, intelligent, productive, honest, fair, ethical, disciplined tolerant (tasamuh), maintaining harmony in personal and social development and implement of religious culture in the school community. Thus the development of religion as a cultural school has gained a strong legality. The school principal as a leader who is responsible for the progress of the institution must have the readiness and ability to evoke the spirit, interpersonal work and be able to create conducive climate and atmosphere, safe, comfortable, peaceful and religious culture.
On the basis of this research was focused on the principal strategies in developing the religious culture in SMAN 1 Sumberpucung, aims to (1) describes the religious culture in SMAN 1 Sumberpuung, (2) describes the strategy of the head at school in a developing religious culture.
This study used a qualitative approach, a case study design. Techniques of data collection using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data collected in the analysis are using data reduction, data presentation and verification.
The results showed that (1) The reality of religious culture in SMAN 1 Sumberpucung (a) Fostering Virtue, (b) Guidance to read and write the Qur`an, (c) Reading prayer before class, (d) Executation of midday attending prayers, (e) Executation of Friday prayers, (d) Warning days of Islam, (g) Using the Moslem clothes during the month of Ramadhan, (h) Habituation to smile and greeting (i) Cultural charity jariya / alms. (2) The principal strategies in developing religious culture include: (a) program planning, (b) Give an example to people at school, (9) Partnership and contribute to the activity, (d) The internalization of values, (e) Habituation and (f) Devaluation program is on the run.
Based on the results of the study suggested (1) for the principal to maintain and enhance the continuous religious culture as a manifestation of the actualization of the teachings of Islam, (2) the reorientation of education managers should conduct an educational program directed at the religious culture in the school, (3) for the Department of Education should increase participation by providing both material and moral support, (4) failure by other researchers for further research that can reveal more about the religious culture in schools. Resulting in more load revealed aspects of religious culture in schools.
