Abstract
ABSTRAK
Pengembangan budaya agama di sekolah merupakan suatu kewajiban yang harus dilaksanakan sebagai upaya untuk mewujudkan masyarakat Indonesia ya n g b e r i m a n , b e r t a q w a d a n b e r a k h l a k m u l i a . D a l a m k a i t a n n ya d e n ga n m e n c i p t a k a n i k l i m s e k o l a h ya n g k o n d u s i f , m a k a k e p a l a s e k o l a h p e r l u menciptakan lingkungan yang membiasakan warganya untuk mengamalkan ajaran-ajaran agama sehingga menjadi budaya bagi seluruh warga sekolah. Upaya menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang memiliki budaya agama yang baik perlu dikelola dengan menerapkan tata kerja manajemen yang selalu berorientasi pada perbaikan secara terns menerus. Dengan demikian pengembangan budaya agama di sekolah dapat terwujud.
Upaya pencapaian tujuan pendidikan dalam organisasi sekolah yang didasarkan pada visi, misi dan tujuan sekolah sangat ditentukan oleh kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah. Kompetensi itu tidak hanya menguasai konsep, akan tetapi perlu kemampuan praktis. Kompetensi manajerial yang dimaksud adalah tindakan administrator yang mencakup perencanaan (planning), pengorganisasian (organizing), penggerakkan (actuating) dan pengawasan (controlling).
Fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan budaya agama di Sekolah Dasar Standard Nasional (SDSN) Islam Tompokersan Lumajang, dengan rumusan masalah sebagai berikut: (1) Bagaimana karakteristik budaya agama yang dikembangkan, (2) Bagaimana manajerial kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan budaya agama, dan (3) Bagaimana peluang dan hambatan yang dihadapi kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan budaya agama di Sekolah Dasar Standard Nasional (SDSN) Islam Tompokersan Lumajang.
Tujuan dan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik budaya agama yang dikembangkan, fungsi manajemen yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah serta peluang dan hambatan yang dihadapi dalam mengembangkan budaya agama di Sekolah Dasar Standard Nasional (SDSN) Islam Tompokersan Lumajang.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi k a su s . T ek n ik pe n gu m p ul a n d a t a di la k u k a n d e n ga n c a r a : ( 1 ) w a w a n c a r a mendalam, (2) pengamatan berperan serta, dan (3) studi dokumentasi. Adapun pemilihan informan penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive yang dipadukan dengan snowball sampling. Dan teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi reduksi data, paparan data, dan menarik kesimpulan.
Hasil penelitiannya menunjukkan bahwa (1) Karakteristik budaya agama ya n g d i k e m b a n gk a n d i S e k o l a h D a s a r S t a n d a r d N a s i o n a l ( S D S N ) Is l a m Tompokersan Lumajang adalah budaya-budaya yang bersumber dari nilai-nilai ajaran agama dan nilai -nilai buda ya dan karakter bangsa, (2) Kompetensi manajerial dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan budaya agama belum sepenuhnya berpijak pada prinsip dan langkah -langkah menurut ilmu manajemen, dan (3) Pengembangan budaya agama di Sekolah Dasar Standard Nas ional (S DS N) Islam Tompokersan Lumajang menghadapi pe luang dan hambatan baik secara internal maupun secara eksternal. Peluangnya adalah semua warga Sekolah Dasar Standard Nasional (SDSN) Islam Tompokersan Lumajang beragama Islam, adanya dukungan dan kepala sekolah, ada tempat ibadah, komitmen seluruh guru dan guru PAI, kebijakan pemerintah dan budaya lokal. Sedangkan hambatannya a d a l a h s a r a n a d a n p r a s a r a n a P A I k u r a n g m e m a d a i , a r u s gl o b a l i s a s i d a n kecanggihan teknologi serta pengaruh pendidikan keluarga dan lingkungan di masyarakat.
ABSTRACT
The development of the religious culture in schools is an obligation that must be carried out in an attempt to bring people of Indonesia are faithful, pious and noble. In relation to creat a school climate that is conducive, the headmaster needs to create an environment that familiarize community to practice the teaching of religion to become the culture for the whole school community. Efforts to create a school environment that have a culture of good faith should be managed by applying work order management were always oriented toward continuous improvement terns. Thus the development of the religious culture in schools can be realized.
Achieving the goals of education in the school organization based on the vision, mission and goals for the school is determined by the headmaster managerial competence. Competence was not only mastered the concept, but need practical skills. Managerial competence is an act of administrators that includes planning (planning), organizing (organizing), mobilizing (actuating) and monitoring (controlling). The focus of this research is the headmaster’s managerial competence in developing religious culture in the National Standard Elementary School (SDSN) Islam Tompokersan Lumajang, with the formulation of the problem as follows: (1) How do the characteristics of religious culture developed, (2) How managerial headmaster’s in developing religious culture, and (3) how the opportunities and constraints faced by the headmaster in developing religious culture in the National Standard Elementary School (SDSN) Islam Tompokersan Lumajang. Aims and research is to describe the characteristics of a developed religious culture, management functions are carried out by the headmaster as well as the opportunities and constraints faced in developing religious culture in the National Primary Standard (SDSN) Islam Tompokersan Lumajang.
This study used a qualitative approach with case study design. Data was collected by: (1) in-depth interviews, (2) participant observation, and (3) documentation study. The selection of informants are using purposive sampling coupled with snowball. And data analysis techniques used data reduction, exposure data, and take conclusions.
Research results indicate that (1) Characteristics of the religious culture that developed in the National Standard Elementary School (SDSN) Isam Tompokersan Lumajang Islamic cultures are derived from the values of religious teachings and cultural values and national character, (2) managerial competence do by the headmaster in developing religious culture is not fully grounded in the principles and steps in management science, and (3) development of the religious culture in the National Standard Elementary School (SDSN) Islam Tompokersan Lumajang opportunities and constraints facing both internally and externally. Chances are all community of the National Standard Elementary Scool (SDSN) IslamTompokersan Lumajang are Muslims, the supports by the headmaster, there is a place of worship, the commitment of all teachers, government policies and local culture. While the obstacle is infrastructure PAI inadequate, globalization and technological sophistication, and the influence of family and environmental education in the community.
