Abstract
ABSTRAK
Dalam rangka meningkatkan kinerja guru, maka diperlukan strategi dari seorang kepala sekolah yang akan memotivasi kerja guru sehingga guru menjadi lebih produktif, memiliki semangat kerja, serta memiliki komitmen yang tinggi. Hal ini untuk menanggulangi penurunan kinerja guru yang selama ini menjadi salah satu problema pendidikan khususnya di Indonesia.
Peningkatan kinerja guru tidak dapat dilakukan tanpa pengelolaan yang baik, karena itu diperlukan keahlian seorang kepala sekolah dalam menentukan strategi apa yang sesuai untuk peningkatan kinerja guru tersebut. oleh karena itu kepala sekolah adalah faktor kunci keberhasilan sekolah. Atas dasar itu, penelitian ini difokuskan pada strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru. Fokus penelitian ini kemudian dikembangkan dalam 4 sub fokus yaitu sebagai berikut: (1) Bagaimana standar kinerja guru di SDI Surya Buana dan SDI As Salam Malang, (2) Bagaimana perencanaan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di SDI Surya Buana dan SDI As Salam, (3) Bagaimana bentuk-bentuk strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di SDI Surya Buana dan SDI As Salam, (4) Bagaimana evaluasi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di SDI Surya Buana dan SDI As Salam.
Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, yang dilakukan pada dua situs (SDI Surya Buana dan SDI As Salam) dengan menggunakan rancangan multi situs. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi: (1) Wawancara Mendalam, (2) Pengamatan Berperanserta (Observasi partisipatif) dan (3) Studi Dokumentasi. Adapun pemilihan informan penelitian, menggunakan teknik purposive Sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara: (1) reduksi data, (2) penyajian data dan (3) penarikan kesimpulan.
Hasil penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Standar kinerja guru ditetapkan oleh kebijakan sekolah sendiri dengan mengacu pada instrumen penilaian kinerja dari Depdiknas yang meliputi perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, penilaian pembelajaran, kedisiplinan, Kerjasama, Etos kerja. (2) Perencanaan peningkatan kinerja guru dimulai dengan analisis kebutuhan, penentuan program, waktu pelaksanaan, dan juga pengadaan biaya/anggaran. (3) Bentuk-bentuk strategi peningkatan kinerja guru meliputi pelatihan, workshop, seminar, studi banding, supervisi, penanaman nilai-nilai islami, penciptaan iklim kerja yang kondusif, adanya penghargaan, fasilitas/sarana prasarana yang memadai dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi.(4) Evaluasi dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru meliputi: evaluasi harian, evaluasi mingguan, evaluasi bulanan, dan evaluasi tahunan.
ABSTRACT
In order to improve the performance of teachers, it is required of a principal strategies that will motivate the work of teachers so that teachers become more productive, have morale, and have a strong commitment. This is to overcome the performance degradation of teacher who has become one of the problems in education, especially in Indonesia.
The improvement of teacher performance cannot be done without proper management, because it requires the expertise of a school principal in determining what the appropriate strategy to increase the performance of the teacher. therefore, the principal is the key factor in school success. On that basis, this study focused on the principal strategies in improving teacher performance. The focus of this research was later developed into 4 sub focus are as follows: (1) How are the teacher performance standards in SDI Surya Buana and SDI As Salam, (2) How are the planning principals in improving teacher performance in SDI Surya Buana and SDI As Salam, (3) What formulas used by school principal in improving teacher performance in SDI Surya Buana and SDI As Salam, (4) How are the school principal evaluation in improving teacher performance in SDI Surya Buana and SDI As Salam.
This research was conducted using a qualitative approach, which is performed at two sites (SDI Surya Buana and SDI As Salam) by using multi-site design. Data collection techniques used include: (1) in-depth interviews, (2) participate Observation (Observation participatory) and (3) Documentation Studies. The selection of informants study, using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was done by: (1) data reduction, (2) the presentation of the data and (3) conclusion.
The results of this study are: (1) teacher performance standards set by school policy itself with reference to the performance of the Ministry of Education assessment instruments that include lesson plans, the implementation of learning, assessment of learning, discipline, cooperation, work ethic. (2) Teacher performance improvement planning starts with requirement analysis, determination of program execution time, and also procurement costs/budgets. (3) The forms of performance improvement strategies include teacher training, workshops, seminars, study visits, supervision, implementation of Islamic values, the creation of a conducive working environment, appreciation availability, adequate facilities and infrastructure and utilization of information technology. (4) The evaluation to improve teacher performance include: daily evaluation, weekly evaluation, monthly evaluation and annually evaluation.
