Abstract
ABSTRAK
Salah satu upaya peningkatan profesional guru adalah melalui supervisi pengajaran, dilakukan secara sistematis oleh pengawas sekolah bertujuan memberikan pembinaan kepada guru-guru agar dapat melaksanakan tugasnya secara efektif dan efisien. Selanjutnya motivasi berprestasi bisa terjadi jika guru mempunyai kebanggaan akan keberhasilan. Oleh sebab itu kedua hal tersebut merupakan faktor penentu peningkatan profesionalisme guru. Berangkat dari permasalahan di atas, maka penelitian ini menjadi urgen untuk dilakukan. Adapun rumusan pokok masalah penelitian meliputi:(1)Adakah pengaruh supervisi pengawas sekolah terhadap profesionalisme guru, (2) Adakah pengaruh motivasi berprestasi guru terhadap profesionalisme guru, (3) Adakah pengaruh variabel supervisi pengawas sekolah dan motivasi berprestasi guru terhadap profesionalisme guru secara simultan.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan berjenis korelasional. Sumber data berasal dari responden dan sesuai dengan hipotesis yang diajukan, maka data yang terkumpul diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan: (1) Statistik deskriptif untuk mengetahui karakteristik responden dan (2) Analisis regresi linier berganda untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh supervisi pengawas sekolah dan motivasi berprestasi guru terhadap profesionalisme guru.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pelaksanaan supervisi oleh pengawas sekolah terhadap guru-guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Kecamatan Pasirian Kabupaten Lumajang termasuk dalam kategori rendah (jelek), dibuktikan dengan hasil tanggapan responden sebesar 31,7% (tidak pernah). Berarti supervisi pengawas sekolah tidak pernah dilakukan dan kurang berjalan sebagaimana mestinya, ditambah pengawas sekolah kurang dalam melaksanakan supervisi menurut persepsi guru-guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Kecamatan Pasirian Kabupaten Lumajang. (2) Motivasi berprestasi yang dimiliki guru-guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Kecamatan Pasirian Kabupaten Lumajang termasuk dalam katagori tinggi (baik), dibuktikan dengan hasil tanggapan responden sebesar 41,3% (seringkali), ditambahkan dengan prestasi guru yang seringkali mendapatkan berbagai award dari berbagai kompetisi yang diadakan oleh Dinas Pendidikan dan Kementrian Agama Kabupaten Lumajang. (3) Secara simultan supervisi pengawas sekolah dan motivasi berprestasi guru berpengaruh terhadap profesionalisme guru dengan f hitung =
24,575 lebih besar dibandingkan F tabel = 3,9434 (df1= 2 dan df2 = 93 dan α = 0,05). Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa supervisi pengawas sekolah dan motivasi berprestasi guru tersebut memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap profesionalisme guru di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta Kecamatan Pasirian Kabupaten Lumajang.
ABSTRACT
One improvement efforts through the supervision of professional teachers are teaching. Supervise the implementation of teaching needs to be done systematically by the school principal and school superintendent aims to provide guidance to teachers in order to carry out their duties effectively and efficiently. And achievement motivation can occur if the teacher has the pride of success. Secondly it is a decisive factor increasing the professionalism of teachers.
On this basis, the formulation of the problem in this study were (1) Are there regulatory supervision of variables influence school achievement and motivation of teachers to the partial teacher professionalism ? And (2) Are there regulatory supervision of variables influence achievement motivation, school and teacher to teacher professionalism simultaneously ? And the goal is (1) To determine the effect of variables and supervise the superintendent of achievement motivation of teachers to teacher professionalism partially, and (2) Are there regulatory supervision of variables influence achievement motivation, school and teacher to teacher professionalism simultaneously.
This study uses the approach used is a type of quantitative and correlational approaches. In accordance with the hypothesis, data has been collected was processed and analyzed using (1). Descriptive statistics to determine the characteristics of respondents and (2). Multiple linear regression analysis to determine whether there is influence of the regulatory supervision of the school and achievement motivation of teachers to teacher professionalism. With a sample of 94 teachers in the district Pasirian Lumajang.
The results showed that: First, the implementation of supervision by school superintendents to teachers Elementary School District Pasirian Lumajang included in the low category (ugly), evidenced by the results of 31.7% of respondents (never). Supervision means school superintendent is never done and less running as they should, plus the lack of school superintendent in carrying out supervision as perceived by teachers Elementary School District Pasirian Lumajang. Second, achievement motivation owned Elementary School teachers Pasirian Lumajang district included in the high category (good), evidenced by the results of 41.3% of respondents (often), was added to the achievements of teachers who often receive various awards from different competitions held by the Department of Education and the Ministry of Religious Affairs Lumajang. Third, simultaneous supervision of the school superintendent and teacher achievement motivation affect the professionalism of teachers with f = 24.575 count greater than F table = 3.9434 (df1 = 2 and df2 = 93 and α = 0,05). Based on these data it can be concluded that the supervision of the school superintendent and teacher achievement motivation is a significant influence on the professionalism of teachers in Government Elementary School District Private Pasirian Lumajang.
