Abstract
INDONESIA:
Kualitas pelayanan negara kepada rakyat pada dasarnya belum optimal. Salah satunya ialah disebabkan kurangnya komitmen pegawai kepada organisasinya. Berdasarkan survei peneliti dilapangan, menunjukkan bahwa pegawai mengalami komitmen organisasi yang rendah namun iklim psikologisnya tinggi. Berbeda dengan teori yang menyebutkan jika iklim psikologis tinggi maka komitmen juga akan tinggi.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui tingkat iklim psikologis pegawai Dinas Sosial Kota Malang, (2) Untuk mengetahui tingkat komitmen organisasi pegawai Dinas Sosial Kota Malang, (3) Untuk mengetahui hubungan iklim psikologis dengan komitmen organisasi pegawai Dinas Sosial Kota Malang.
Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik korelasi. Pengambilan sampel dengan cara non-probability sampling yaitu dengan menggunakan kuota, yaitu 36 pegawai dinas sosial. Dengan 2 variabel, variabel bebasnya adalah iklim psikologis, sedangkan komitmen organisasi sebagai variabel terikat. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (α= 0,889), Psychological Climate Scale (α= 0,919). Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis korelasi product-moment.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa iklim psikologis pegawai berada pada tingkat sedang 81%. Sedangkan komitmen organisasi berada pada kategori sedang 72%. Hasil analisis product-moment menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif antara iklim psikologis dengan komitmen organisasi karena >0.005, yakni nilai =0.490.

Quality of state services to their civil basically is yet optimal. One of the factors is caused by the less commitment of employee to their organization. According survey that conducted by researcher in the field, indicated that employee are experiencing less organizational commitment while they are in high psychological climate. This is different to the theory which stated that, if the psychological climate is high then organizational commitment also.
Purposes of this research are (1) To know the psychological climate level of social services employee Malang, (2) To know the organizational commitment of social services employee Malang, (3) To know the relationship between psychological climate with organizational commitment of social services employee Malang.
This research is conducted by using quantitative method along with correlation technique. Sample is taken by using non-probability procedure i.e by using quota, 36 employees of social services. Along with 2 variables, independent variable is psychological climate and organizational commitment as dependent variable. Measuring tool that used are Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (α= 0,889), Psychological Climate Scale (α= 0,919). Data analysis which used in this research is correlation analysis of product-moment.
Result of research indicated that psychological climate of the employee are on the middle level 81%. Whereas organizational commitment is on middle category 72%. Analysis result of product-moment indicated that there is a positive relationship between psychological climate with organizational commitment because >0.0005 value =0.490
