Abstract

ABSTRAK

Pencahayaan alami merupakan salah satu persyaratan yang harus dipenuhi dalam sistem pencahayaan suatu bangunan, selain sistem pencahayaan buatan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah nilai intensitas cahaya matahari pada lorong-lorong ruangan gedung Fakultas Saintek UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara mengukur nilai intensitas cahaya pada titik ukur (8 titik ukur). Pengukuran dilakukan selama 3 hari dengan harapan dapat dijadikan acuan nilai rata-rata intensitas cahaya pada titik ukur.

Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriftif kuantitatif melalui pembacaan nilai intensitas cahaya pada setiap titik ukur dalam waktu tertentu dibandingkan dengan intensitas cahaya ideal pada suatu ruangan sesuai dengan Standard Nasional Indonesia (SNI) dalam bidang kesehatan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan, Nilai intensitas cahaya matahari pada titik ukur di lorong- lorong lantai 2 gedung Fakultas Sainstek tidak semua memenuhi Standard Nasional Indonesia dalam bidang kesehatan. Untuk pekerjaan halus hanya titik ukur 1 saja yang memenuhi Standard Nasional Indonesia (SNI) dalam bidang kesehatan.

ABSTRACT

Daylighting is one of the requirements in the lighting system of building beside the artificial lighting system. The research was conducted to know how much the sun light intensity value in the hallways of Science and Technology Faculty building in UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.

This research was conducted by measuring the light intensity value at the measuring point (8 measuring points). The measurement was done in three days and the result was expected to be the avarage reference of the light intensity value at the measuring point.

The data analysis technique in this research used the quantitative descriptive analysis by reading the light intensity value in every measuring point and in the certain time; the value was compared to the ideal light intensity in certain room based on the Indonesian National Standard (INS) for the health field. The result of this research showed that not all of the sun light intensity values at the measuring point of second floor of Science and Technology Faculty building met the Indonesian National Standard for the health field. For smooth work, there was only one measuring point that met the Indonesian National Standard (INS) for the health field.
