Penerapan Metode Picture and Picture untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar IPS kelas VII MTS Bahrul Ulum Besur Lamongan

ABSTRACT

Metode Pictue and Picture merupakan penyajian materi dari suatu rencana pembelajaran yaitu dengan cara guru menunjukkan gambar – gambar yang berkaitan dengan materi, kemudian guru memanggil para siswa bergantian untuk mengurutkan gambar menjadi urutan yang logis. Dan di tanyakan dasar pemikiran dari urutan tersebut. Kegiatan ini diarahkan pada tujuan untuk memotivasi siswa dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar sehingga prestasi belajar para siswa bisa meningkat. Akhir – akhir ini di temukan beberapa masalah tentang motivasi belajar pada siswa, sehingga pembelajaran di dalam kelas kurang efektif dan pada akhirnya prestasi belajar siswa yang kurang maksimal. Baik karena para siswa cenderung bosan dengan metode yang di ajarkan, maupun tingkat pengajarannya seorang guru yang kurang efisien pada saat kegiatan belajar mengajar.

Dari permasalahan tersebut, maka penulis mencoba mengadakan penelitian di yaitu berupa penelitian tindakan kelas, Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research ). Tahap penelitian ini mengikuti model yang dikembangkan oleh Kemmis dan Taggart, yaitu berupa suatu siklus spiral yang meliputi kegiatan perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik-teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu: (1) observasi aktivitas siswa (2) pengukuran tes hasil belajar; dan (3) dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dari tindakan kemudian dianalisis.

Adapun Rumusan masalahnya adalah : (1) Bagaimana Perencanaan Pembelajaran metode Picture and picture dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan Hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas VII di MTs Bahrul Ulum Besur Lamongan (2) Bagaimana Pelaksanaan pembelajaran metode Picture and picture yang dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan Hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di Kelas VII di MTs Bahrul Ulum Besur Lamongan (3) Bagaimana Hasil dari di terapkannya pembelajaran metode Picture and picture yang dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di Kelas VII di MTs Bahrul Ulum Besur Lamongan. Dan tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) Untuk Mengetahui Perencanaan Pembelajaran metode Picture and picture dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan Hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas VII di MTs Bahrul Ulum Besur Lamongan (2) Untuk Mengetahui Pelaksanaan pembelajaran metode Picture and picture yang dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan Hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di Kelas VII di MTs Bahrul Ulum Besur Lamongan ( 3) Untuk mengetahui Hasil dari di terapkannya pembelajaran metode Picture and picture yang dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di Kelas VII di MTs Bahrul Ulum Besur Lamongan.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat di simpulkan bahwa penerapan metode picture and picture dapat meningkatkan Motivasi belajar siswa, Hal ini terlihat dari hasil observasi peningkatan motivasi siswa terhadap Metode Picture and Picture adalah sebagai berikut, peningkatan motivasi siklus I dengan siklus II sekitar 29%, siklus II dengan siklus III sekitar 45%, dan siklus I dengan siklus III sekitar 87%.

Dan Hasil belajar mereka pun juga meningkat, yang semula nilai rata-rata pre test 73,1875 atau sekitar 43,75 % meningkat menjadi 77,375 atau sekitar 78,125 % pada siklus I, pada siklus II lebih meningkat lagi menjadi 77,375 atau sekitar 93,75 %, dan pada siklus III semakin meningkat menjadi 80,84375 atau sekitar 93,5 %.

ABSTRAK

Picture and Picture method is the presentation of the material from a lesson plan that is the way the teacher showed pictures - images relating to the material, then the teacher calls the students take turns to sort the images into a logical sequence. And in asking the rationale of the sequence. This activity is directed on purpose to motivate students in learning activities so that the students' learning achievement can be increased. End - the end is found a few problems concerning the students' motivation to learn, so the learning in the classroom is less effective and ultimately student achievement that is less than the maximum. Either because the students tend to get bored with the methods taught, as well as the level of a teacher teaching a less efficient at the time of teaching and learning activities.

From these problems, the authors tried to conduct research in the form of classroom action research, this study is a class action (Classroom Action Research). This research phase follows the model developed by Kemmis and Taggart, namely in the form of a spiral cycle that includes planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used are: (1) student activity observation (2) measurement of achievement test; and (3) documentation. Data obtained from the action then analyzed.

The formulation of the problem is: (1) How Lesson Planning Picture and picture method can increase motivation and learning outcomes in social studies class VII MTs Bahr Ulum Besur Lamongan (2) How implementation of learning methods Picture and picture are in increasing motivation and student learning outcomes in social studies in Class VII in MTs Bahr Ulum Besur Lamongan (3) How Results of the learning method in terapkannya Picture and picture are in increasing motivation and student learning outcomes in social studies in class VII MTs Bahr Ulum Besur Lamongan. And the goals to be achieved in this research are: (1) To Learn Lesson Planning Picture and picture method can increase motivation and learning outcomes in social studies class VII MTs Bahr Ulum Besur Lamongan (2) For the implementation of the learning method Knowing Picture and picture are in improve motivation and student learning outcomes in social studies in Class VII in MTs Bahr Ulum Besur Lamongan (3) To know the results of the learning method in terapkannya Picture and picture are in increasing motivation and student learning outcomes in social studies in Class VII in MTs Bahr Ulum Besur Lamongan.
 
Based on the results of this study concluded that the application of the method of picture and picture can improve students' learning motivation, This is evident from the observation of increased motivation of students to the Picture and Picture method is as follows, the increased motivation of the first cycle to the second cycle of about 29%, the second cycle by cycle III about 45%, and the first cycle with the third cycle of about 87%.

And the results of their study were also increased, which had an average value of pre-test 73.1875 or approximately 43.75% increase to 77.375, or approximately 78.125% in the first cycle, the second cycle is increased to 77.375, or approximately 93.75% , and the third cycle increasingly becoming 80.84375, or approximately 93.5%.
