Hubungan ambiguity tolerance dengan academic hardiness pada mahasiswa peserta Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang

Perkembangan social society 5.0 dan revolusi industri pada 4.0, perkembangan zaman yang pesat Kemendikbud menciptakan program pendidikan baru yaitu Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). Diketahui usia progam MBKM yang belum lama berjalan tentu menimbulkan banyak problem yang terjadi salah satu nya adalah ketidak pastian yang terjadi terhadap individu yang mengikuti program tersebut memurut Maimunah, (2021) dari hasil observasi nya menyatakan bahwa 7 dari 10 problem yang terjadi adalah ketidak jelasan dari segi sosialisasi, time line, dan benefit dari program tersebut. Fakta tersebut menguak keadaan baru dalam individu peserta MBKM adapun keadaan tersebut adalah Ambiguity Tolelrance atau Ambiguity Tolerance kejadian tersebut merupakan sikap individu yang mampu melihat ambiguitas sebagai tantangan, (Annisa & Ardi, n.d.). Frenkel-Brunswik, (1948). Selanjutnya berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan pada mahasiswa angkatan pertama MBKM magang Psikologi 2019 banyak terdapat ketidak pastian kebijakan terhadap penerapan yang akan dilakukan. Dengan bukti tidak terealisaikan nya program wajib skripsi bagi seluruh peserta MBKM Psikologi 2022.

Penelitian ini menjadi sangat menarik karena peneliti mempertemukan dua variabel tersebut untuk mencari tingkat setiap variabel pada mahasiswa MBKM dan hubungan antara variabel X yaitu Ambiguity Tolerance dan variabel Y yaitu academic hardiness. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional. Jenis pendekatan ini digunakan untuk mengetahui korelasi atau hubungan antar dua variabel, (Winarsunu 2010; Azwar, 2014). Selanjut nya penelitian ini juga menambahkan uji normalitas untuk mengetahui distribusi data, uji linieritas untuk mengetahui tingka korelasi, dan uji T untuk mengetahu pengaruh gander terhadap penelitian ini.

Berdasarkan uji kategorisasi data menunjukkan bahwa tingkat academic hardiness dan ambiguity tolerance pada peserta MBKM 2022 pada kategori sedang dengan nilai sig > 0.05. Sedangkan dalam uji gander tidak terdapat perbedaan baik pada variabel academic hardiness maupun pada variabel ambiguity tolerance dengan nilai sig > 0.05 sedangkan hubungan antar kedua variabel berdasarkan uji hipotesis menunjukkan hasil yaitu nilai sig 0.000 < 0.05 yang dapat diinterpretasikan bahwa terdapat signifikansi pada Ambiguity Tolerance terhadap academic hardiness dan sebaliknya. Pada peserta MBKM Psikologi 2022. Selanjutnya nilai pearson corelation sebesar 0.582 menunjukkan bahwa Ambiguity Tolerance terhadap academic hardiness memiliki korelasi positif satu sama lain.

The development of social society 5.0 and the industrial revolution in 4.0, the rapid development of the Ministry of Education and culture created a new educational program, namely Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). It is known that the age of the MBKM program that has not been running for a long time certainly causes many problems, one of which is the uncertainty that occurs to individuals who participate in the program according to Maimunah, (2021) from her observation results, 7 out of 10 problems that occur are unclear in terms of socialization, time line, and benefits of the program. The fact reveals a new situation in individual MBKM participants as for the situation is Ambiguity Tolelrance or Ambiguity Tolerance the incident is the attitude of individuals who are able to see ambiguity as a challenge, (Annisa & Ardi, n.d.). Furthermore, based on observations made on the first batch of MBKM psychology internship 2019 students, there are many uncertain policies towards the implementation to be carried out. This research becomes very interesting because the research shows the two variables to find the level of each variable in MBKM students and the relationship between variable X is ambiguity tolerance and variable Y is academic violence.
