Abstract
INDONESIA :
Latar belakang: Mahasisa kedokteran lebih rentan untuk terkena burnout dibandingkan fakultas lain karena banyaknya beban belajar untuk menjadi “a long life learner” serta banyaknya target penguasaan materi dalam waktu yang cukup singkat, menyebabkan aktivitas kuliah lebih padat dibandingkan dengan fakultas lain. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untul mengetahui hubungan antara burnout dengan capaian akademik mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian observasional analitik dengan desain cross-sectional. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Dokter di Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu Kesehatan (FKIK) UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang angakatan 2019, 2020 dan 2021. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Maslach Burnout Syndrome Inventory-Student Survey (MBI-SS) untuk menilai tingkat burnout. Penelitian ini mendapatkan diikuti oleh 149 mahasiswa dari jumlah seluruh populasi 149 mahasiswa. Hasil analisis univariat didapatkan (5,36%) mahasiswa dengan burnout berat dan (16,1%) mahasiswa dengan predikat cumlaude. Hasil analisis korelasi antara burnout dengan capaian akademik menggunakan uji korelasi spearman rank didapatkan nilai signifikasi 0,715 (p>0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah tidak ada hubungan signifikan antara burnout dengan capaian akademik mahasiswa PSPD di FKIK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.

Background: Medical students are more liable to burnout than other faculties because of the large burden of learning to become "a long life learner" and the large number of targets for mastering the material in a fairly short time, causing lecture activities to be more dense than other faculties. The object of this study was to determine the relationship between burnout and student academic achievement. The method used in this study is an analytical observational study with a cross-sectional design. Participants in this study were students of the Medical Education Study Program at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang class of 2019, 2020 and 2021. The instrument used was the Maslach Burnout Syndrome Inventory-Student Survey (MBI-SS) to assess the level of burnout. This study was followed by 149 students from the total population of 149 students. The results of univariate analysis were obtained (5.36%) students with severe burnout and (16.1%) students with cum laude predicate. The results of the correlation analysis between burnout and academic achievement using the Spearman rank correlation test obtained a significance value of 0.715 (p>0.05). The conclusion of this study is that there is no significant relationship between burnout and academic achievement of PSPD students at FKIK UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.
