Pengaruh ekstrak etanol 70% daun dandang gendis (Clinacanthus nutans) pada gambaran Histopatologi Hepar tikus Model Diabetes Melitus

Diabetes Melitus (DM) merupakan penyakit metabolik yang dapat memicu komplikasi pada organ hepar sepertihalnya perburukan gambaran histopatologi hepar dengan didasari oleh mekanisme stres oksidatif. Clinacanthus nutans (CN) memiliki mayoritas kandungan fitokimia seperti flavonoid, saponin, dan tanin yang berperan sebagai penawar stres oksidatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuktikan pengaruh pemberian ekstrak etanol 70% daun dandang gendis terhadap perbaikan histopatologi hepar tikus model DM. Hewan coba tikus model DM dilakukan injeksi Streptozotocin (STZ) 45 mg/kgBB secara Intrapertioneal. Terdapat 30 ekor tikus yang dibagi menjadi 5 kelompok yaitu kontrol normal, kontrol diabetes mellitus, perlakuan 1 (diberikan penyondean ekstrak CN 100 mg/kgBB), perlakuan 2 (200 mg/kgBB), perlakuan 3 (400 mg/kgBB) Setelah 28 hari perlakuan, tikus ditermrinasi dan diambil jaringan hepar untuk dilakukan pewarnaan HE dan pengamatan histopatologi menggunakan mikroskop cahaya fengan perbesaran 400x. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji statistik parametrik On Way ANOVA dan dilanjutkan dengan Post Hoc Tukey, dengan hasil Didapatkan hasil signifikan pada dosis perlakuan 100 mg/kgBB, 200 mg/kgBB, dan 400 mg/kgBB (p < 0,05). Pemberian ekstrak etanol daun dandang gendis (Clinacanthus nutans) berpengaruh dengan signifikan terhadap perbaikan gambaran histopatologi hepar tikus model diabetes melitus

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disease that can trigger complications in the liver organs such as worsening of the histopathological picture of the liver based on the mechanism of oxidative stress.. Clinacanthus nutans (CN) has the majority of phytochemicals such as flavonoids, saponins, and tannins which act as an antidote to oxidative stress. The purpose of this study was to prove the effect of giving 70% ethanol extract of dandang gendis leaves on the improvement of the liver histopathology of DM model rats. DM rat model animals were injected with Streptozotocin (STZ) 45 mg/kg BW intraperitoneally. There were 30 rats which were divided into 5 groups: normal control, diabetes mellitus control, treatment 1 (given CN extract 100 mg/kgBB), treatment 2 (200 mg/kgBB), treatment 3 (400 mg/kgBB) After 28 days treatment, the rats were terminated and liver tissue was taken for HE staining and histopathological observation using a light microscope with 400x magnification. Data analysis was performed using the On Way ANOVA parametric statistical test and followed by Post Hoc Tukey, with the results significant results were obtained at treatment doses of 100 mg/kg, 200 mg/kg, and 400 mg/kg (p
