Abstract
ABSTRAK
Kebutuhan onderdil sepeda motor semakin naik seiring dengan pertumbuhan penjualan sepeda motor yang semakin pesat. Dalam pendistribusian onderdil sepeda motor tersebut maka dibutuhkan sales. Profesi salesman tidak harus selalu dicari melalui lowongan kerja sehingga terikat kontrak dengan sebuah badan usaha. Namun ada sisi lain yang dapat ditekuni dengan modal sendiri yaitu sebagai sales freelance, kata freelance berarti bersifat bebas, independen atau tidak terikat kontrak kerja dengan badan usaha. Dalam menjalankan profesinya, seorang salesman harus memiliki ilmu dan seni menjual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan salesmanship yang dilakukan salesman onderdil sepeda motor di daerah Malang.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif, dimana peneliti mengorganisasikan, mengurutkan data dan memilah-milah data menjadi satuan yang dapat dikelola, kemudian melakukan analisis dengan tanpa menggunakan statistik dan selanjutnya menguraikan dan menafsirkan data tersebut.
Dari analisis yang dilakukan, diketahui bahwa penerapan salesmanship digunakan oleh salesman onderdil dalam kegiatannya mencari calon pembeli sampai melayani pelanggan. Dalam penerapan salesmanship ini, analisis yang dilakukan adalah mengenai informasi teknis persiapan sebelum salesman melakukan kunjungan penjualan, penerapan transaksi penjualan sampai pada menjaga hubungan dan kepercayaan baik kepada pelanggan dan atasan. Analisis tersebut dinilai lebih lengkap dan spesifik sesuai studi salesmanship yang diteliti. Adapun kendala yang dihadapi dalam penelitian ini, kendala pertama adalah kelengkapan data mengenai pedagang besar (wholesale) tempat berlangganan dan data nama pelanggan dari masing-masing salesman freelance tersebut. Kendala yang kedua adalah diharuskannya peneliti membantu kegiatan penjualan onderdil mereka sehingga membuat penelitian ini menghabiskan waktu yang lama. Kendala yang ketiga ialah kekurangan peneliti dalam mengulas kajian Islam yang berkaitan dengan penerapan
ABSTRACT
The necessity of the motorcycle spare parts increases along with the more rapid growth of the motorcycle selling. In the distribution of the motorcycle spare parts, we, therefore, need the sales. The profession of salesmen are not always able to be looked for through job vacancy. Therefore, they are working based on contract-bound is a certain company. However, there is another side which could be fully and diligently worked with ones own capital, it is called freelance sales. The word freelance has the meaning of free, independent, or no working contract- bound with a certain firm. In performing the profession, a salesman must have knowledge and arts of selling. This research has the purposes of finding out the implementations of the salesmanship which are conducted by the salesmen of the motorcycle spare parts in Malang City area.
This research is a qualitative research with descriptive methods. The data
used consist of primary data and secondary data. The methods of the data collection used are interviews, observations, and documentations. The analysis of data used is the descriptive method, where the researcher organized, put the data in the right order, and selected as well as classified the data into one manageable unit, then carried out the analysis without using the statistics and then analyzed and interpreted the data.
From the analysis carried out, it is known that the implementations of the salesmanship are used by the spare parts salesmen in their activities from looking for the potential customers or buyers until serving the customers and buyers well. In implementing this salesmanship, the analysis conducted is from the information of the technical preparations carried out before the salesman does the visits of selling, the implementations of the selling transactions, until maintaining the good relationships and mutual trust to both customers or buyers and the superiors or boss. This analysis is considered more complete and more specific exactly in accordance with the salesmanship study investigated. While the obstacles faced in this research are : the first obstacle was the data comprehensiveness about the wholesale, places to subscribe, and the customers data base from each freelance salesman. The second obstacle was it is a must for the researchers to help and assist their activities of selling the spare parts, therefore, this research took very long time. The third obstacle was the lack of the researchers in reviewing and analyzing the Islamic study which is related to the implementations of the salesmanship.
