Prediksi Penjualan Obat menggunakan Metode Moving Average dan Simple Exponential Smoothing pada Apotek

ABSTRACT

Apotek merupakan toko yang menjual obat, alat medis, dan meramu resep dari dokter. Peneliti menerapkan metode Moving Average dan Simple Exponential Smoothing dalam memprediksi penjualan obat pada apotek untuk mengurangi risiko terjadinya kelebihan dan kekurangan barang yang bisa berakibat fatal pada proses bisnis apotek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil akurasi dari implementasi metode Moving Average dan Simple Exponential Smoothing dalam memprediksi penjualan. Data yang digunakan berasal dari Wiva Apotek meliputi tanggal penjualan, nama barang, dan jumlah penjualan. Skenario pengujian yang dilakukan dengan menghitung nilai error menggunakan MSE pada metode tersebut menghasilkan nilai prediksi yang berbeda-beda, kemudian dari hasil tersebut ditentukan metode terbaik yang digunakan untuk peramalan pada bulan ke -13. Contoh pada obat Actifed hijau mempunyai MSE terkecil 1.6296296296296298 yang diperoleh dari metode Moving Average interval 3 bulan dan 3.9166666666666665 dari metode Simple Exponential Smoothing dengan alpha 0.5. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka metode terbaik adalah Moving Average interval 3 bulan yang kemudian digunakan untuk prediksi bulan ke 13.

Pharmacy is a store that sells medicines, medical devices, and mixes prescriptions from doctors. Researchers apply the Moving Average and Simple Exponential Smoothing methods in predicting drug sales at pharmacies to reduce the risk of excess and shortage of goods which can be fatal to the pharmacy business process. This study aims to determine the results of the accuracy of the implementation of the Moving Average and Simple Exponential Smoothing methods in predicting sales. The data used comes from Wiva Apotek including sales date, item name, and sales amount. The test scenarios carried out by calculating the error value using the MSE in this method produce different predictive values, then from these results the best method is determined to be used for forecasting in the 13th month. The example of the active green drug has the smallest MSE of 1.6296296296296298 obtained from the 3-month interval Moving Average method and 3.9166666666666665 from the Simple Exponential Smoothing method with alpha 0.5. Based on these results, the best method is a 3-month interval Moving Average which is then used to predict the 13th month.
