Perancangan Museum Sejarah Kediri ini didesain dengan menerapkan tema Historicism yakni membuat banngunan berdasarkan sejarahnya, serta dapat mengenalkan kembali kepada masyarakat tentang kehidupan pada masa Kerajaan Kediri. Dengan menerapkan material-material alami pada desain sebagai finishingnya.
