Hubungan antara konsep diri dengan perilaku menyontek pada siswa SMP Sata Dharm Desa Balung Lor Kecamatan Balung Kabupaten Jember

ABSTRAK

Dalam dunia pendidikan konsep diri yang baik sangat penting bagi siswa dalam membangun kepercayaan diri pada setiap melaksanakan tugas-tugasnya, baik yang bersifat akademik maupun nonakademik. Perilaku menyontek adalah salah satu fenomena pendidikan yang sering muncul mnyertai aktivitas proses belajar mengajar, namun hal tersebut masih kurang mendapat perhatian dalam wacana pendidikan di Indonesia. Berdasarkan wawancara dengan guru BP dan 1 orang guru dan 1 Tata Usaha (TU), seluruhnya menyatakan di SMP Satya Dharma Desa Balung Lor Kecamatan Balung Kabupaten Jember bahwa menyontek adalah hal biasa dan wajar dilakukan oleh seorang siswa dan guru BP menyatakan hampir 70% siswa di SMP Satya Dharma Desa Balung Lor Kecamatan Balung Kabupaten Jember melakukan perilaku menyontek. Data ini cukup memperhatikan, sebagian besar siswa pernah menyontek. (1) Bagaimana Tingkat konsep diri siswa SMP Satya Dharma Desa Balung Lor Kecamatan Balung Kabupaten Jember (2) Bagaimana Tingkat perilaku menyontek siswa SMP Satya Dharma Desa Balung Lor Kecamatan Balung Kabupaten Jember (3) Apakah ada hubungan antara konsep diri dengan perilaku menyontek pada siswa SMP Satya Dharma Desa Balung Lor Kecamatan Balung Kabupaten Jember.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu (1) untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat konsep diri pada siswa SMP Satya Dharma Desa Balung Lor Kecamatan Balung Kabupaten Jember (2) untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat perilaku menyontek pada siswa SMP Satya Dharma Desa Balung Lor Kecamatan Balung Kabupaten Jember (3) dan untuk mengetahui adakah hubungan antara konsep diri dengan perilaku menyontek pada siswa SMP Satya Dharma Desa Balung Lor Kecamatan Balung Kabupaten Jember.

Desain yang digunakan adalah deskriptif korelasional dengan teknik pengambilan sampel Quato random sampling. Subyek penelitian adalah 67 siswa SMP Satya Dharma Desa Balung Lor Kecamatan Balung Kabupaten Jember. Pengambilan data yang digunakan yaitu skala konsep diri dan skala perilaku menyontek. Metode analisis data yang digunakan teknik analisis korelasi product moment dengan bantuan SPSS for windows 17.00.

Dalam penelitian ini, diperoleh bahwa (1) konsep diri siswa SMP Satya Dharma Desa Balung Lor Kecamatan Balung Kabupaten Jember berada pada tingkat rendah yaitu 27 siswa (40,30%), tinggi 19 siswa (28,36%), dan sedang 21 siswa (31,34%) (2) perilaku menyontek siswa SMP Satya Dharma Desa Balung Lor Kecamatan Balung Kabupaten Jember berada pada tingkat tinggi yaitu 27 siswa (40,30%), 26 siswa (38,81 %) dan rendah 14 siswa (20,90%) (3) terdapat korelasi antara konsep diri dengan perilaku menyontek pada siswa SMP Satya Dharma Desa Balung Lor Kecamatan Balung Kabupaten Jember, yang bersifat negative (r_hitung = -0,199 dan r_tabel=2,679 ) dengan signifikan 0,053 > 0,05.

ABSTRACT

In a world of education, good self-concept is very important for students to build confidence in each perform his duties, both academically and non-academically. Cheating behavior is one of the educational phenomenon that often appears accompanies the process of teaching and learning activities, but it still received less attention in the discourse of education in Indonesia. Based on interviews with a guidance counselor (BP) and a teacher and an Administrative (TU), all states in junior high school Satya Dharma Balung Lor Village, Balung Sub-District, Regency of Jember that cheating is normal and natural thing done by a student and guidance counselor (BP) claimed nearly 70% of students in junior high school Satya Dharma Balung Lor Village, Balung Sub-District, Regency of Jember cheating behavior. These data are quite concerned, most students never cheat. The purpose of this research are (1) to know the description of the level of self- concept in students of junior high school Satya Dharma Balung Lor Village, Balung Sub-District, Regency of Jember (2) to know the description of the level of cheating behavior in students of junior high school Satya Dharma Balung Lor Village, Balung Sub-District, Regency of Jember (3) and to know is there any relationship between self-concept and cheating behavior in students of junior high school Satya Dharma Balung Lor Village, Balung Sub-District, Regency of Jember.

The design used was a descriptive correlational techniques Quato random sampling. Subjects were 67 students of junior high school Satya Dharma Balung Lor Village, Balung Sub-District, Regency of Jember. Retrieval of data used is self-concept scale and the scale of cheating behavior. Methods of data analysis used is techniques product moment correlation analysis with SPSS for windows 17.00.

In this research, obtained that (1) students self-concept junior high school Satya Dharma Balung Lor Village, Balung Sub-District, Regency of Jember is at a low level of 27 students (40.30%), height 19 students (28.36%), and currently 21 students (31.34%) (2) the cheating behavior in students of junior high school Satya Dharma Balung Lor Village, Balung Sub-District, Regency of Jember is at a high level of 27 students (40.30%), while 26 students (38.81%) and low 14 students (20.90%) (3) there is a correlation between self-concept and cheated behavior in students of junior high school Satya Dharma Balung Lor Village, Balung Sub-District, Regency of Jember, which is negative (r_count =-0.199 and r_table = 2.679) with a significant 0.053> 0 , 05.
