Abstract
INDONESIA:
Konsep diri merupakan bagaimana individu melihat dirinya sendiri dan bagaimana perasaan individu terhadap dirinya sendiri. Konsep diri akan terus berkembang selama fase kehidupan. Memiliki konsep diri yang baik sangat penting bagi setiap individu. Namun berdasarkan data pra penelitian yang telah dilakukan pada siswa SMP NW Wanasaba menunjukkan adanya kecenderungan konsep diri yang kurang baik pada siswa. Konsep diri dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor salah satunya pergaulan teman sebaya.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pergaulan teman sebaya terhadap konsep diri siswa SMP yang berada pada kelas VII. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan populasi sebanyak 196 siswa. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII sebanyak 68 sampel. Penentuan sampel ini dilakukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Dalam pengumpulan data penelitian, peneliti menggunakan skala Pergaulan Teman
Sebaya dan Konsep diri yang diadaptasi. Metode yang digunakan untuk analisis data adalah uji deskriptif, uji normalitas, uji linearitas dan uji regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan program Microsoft Excel 2019 for Windows dan IBM SPSS Versi 25.0 for Windows.
Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan statistik diketahui bahwa nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,23. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh variabel bebas (pergaulan teman sebaya) terhadap variabel terikat (konsep diri) adalah sebesar 23%. Artinya semakin tinggi tingkat pergaulan teman sebaya seseorang maka semakin tinggi pula konsep diri individu tersebut.

Self-concept is how individuals see themselves and how individuals feel about themselves. Self-concept will continue to develop during this phase of life. Having a good self-concept is very important for every individual. However, based on pre-research data that has been conducted on students of SMP NW Wanasaba, it shows that there is a tendency for students to have poor self-concepts. Self-concept is influenced by several factors, one of which is peer relationship.
This study aims to determine the effect of peer relationship on the self-concept of junior high school students who are in class VII. This research method uses a quantitative approach with a population of 196 students. The sample in this study was class VII students as many as 68 samples. Determination of this sample is done using purposive sampling technique. In collecting research data, researchers used the scale of Peer relationship and Self-concept which was adapted. The method used for data analysis is descriptive test, normality test, linearity test and simple linear regression test with the help of Microsoft Excel
2019 for Windows and IBM SPSS Version 25.0 for Windows.
Based on the results of statistical calculations, it is known that the coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.23. This shows that the influence of the independent variable (peer relationship) on the dependent variable (self-concept) is 23%. This means that the higher the level of a person's peer association, the higher the individual's self-concept.
