Implementasi metode profile matching sistem pendukung keputusan dalam menentukan dosen pembimbing skripsi

Skripsi merupakan matakuliah wajib yang harus ditempuh mahasiswa untuk memperoleh gelar akademis dalam strata satu. Selama proses penyusunan skripsi, selain menentukan judul penelitian, mahasiswa juga membutuhkan tempat konsultasi dan membimbing yaitu dosen pembimbing. Dalam menentukan dosen pembimbing memerlukan banyak pertimbangan. Salah satunya adalah menentukan dosen yang menguasai bidang sesuai judul skripsi mahasiswa supaya proses konsultas dapat berjalan dengan baik. Sistem Pendukung Keputusan pemilihan dosen pembimbing skripsi di jurusan Teknik Informatika UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang dengan mengimplementasikan metode Profile Matching agar dapat digunakan sebagai proses penentuan dosen pembimbing skripsi secara tepat dan sesuai dengan bidang pengajaran dosen serta kemampuan mahasiswa. Hasil dari sistem pendukung keputusan akan mampu membantu mahasiswa dalam menentukan dosen pembimbing skripsi yang sesuai dengan kompetensi dan bidang pengajaran dosen.

During the thesis preparation process, in addition to determining the title of the research, students also need a place to consult and guide, namely the supervisor. In determining the supervisor requires a lot of consideration. The results of the decision support system will be able to assist students in determining the thesis supervisors who are in accordance with the competence and teaching field of lecturers.
