Abstract
ABSTRACT:
Learning outcomes are the achievements of a student obtained from learning in the form of changes in knowledge and behavior in line with the learning obtained. One indicator of measuring learning outcomes is the test score. The block values of medical students in the UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang are highly variable. Process and presage factors determine the level of block value as a product, which includes learning motivation and various student learning strategies. This study determines the relationship between motivation and learning strategies on students’ UAB scores. This research employs a descriptive analytic approach with a crosssectional design. The research sample comprised students enrolled in Medical Education at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang in the classes of 2018, 2019, and 2020. The Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) was utilized to collect primary data, while secondary data on final block exam scores (UAB) were obtained from the study program. Spearmen’s rho correlation test was performed to analyze the data, with a significance level of = 0.05. Univariate analysis revealed that most students had a moderate motivation for learning, with the highest percentage in the 2018 class (n=31; 86.1%), while the 2018 class had the highest percentage of students with a medium category learning strategy (n=29; 80.6%). Bivariate analysis revealed a relationship between learning motivation and block final exam results (p=0.014; r=0.226) but not between learning strategies and block final exam results (p=0.260; r=0.105). According to the research conducted, learning motivation is related to block final exam scores, however, learning strategies are not related with block final exam scores.

Hasil belajar yaitu pencapaian dari seorang mahasiswa yang diperoleh dari belajar berbentuk perubahan pengetahuan dan tingkah laku selaras dengan pembelajaran yang didapatkan. Salah satu indicator pengukuran hasil belajar adalah nilai ujian. Mahasiswa kedokteran UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang Angkatan memiliki nilai blok yang sangat bervariasi. Faktor yang mempengaruhi tinggi rendahnya nilai blok sebagai product adalah process dan presage yang diantaranya motivasi belajar dan strategi belajar mahasiswa yang berbeda. Penelitan ini bertujuan meneliti hubungan antara motivasi dan strategi belajar terhadap nilai UAB mahasiswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik memanfaatkan desain cross sectional. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Dokter UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang angkatan 2018, 2019 dan 2020. Pengumpulan data primer menggunakan Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) sedangkan data sekunder nilai ujian akhir blok (UAB) didapatkan dari prodi. Analisa data menggunakan uji korelasi spearmen’s rho dengan tingkat signifikansi α=0,05. Analisis univariat menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa memiliki motivasi belajar kategori sedang dengan presentase tertinggi pada angkatan 2018 (n=31; 86,1%) dan strategi belajar kategori sedang tertinggi pada angkatan 2018 (n=29; 80,6%). Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara motivasi belajar dengan hasil ujian akhir blok (p=0,014; r=0,226) dan tidak terdapat hubungan antara strategi belajar dengan hasil ujian akhir blok (p=0,260; r=0,105). Dari penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi belajar berhubungan dengan nilai ujian akhir blok, sedangkan strategi belajar tidak berhubungan dengan nilai ujian akhir blok.
