Abstract
INDONESIA:
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh faktor lingkungan, baik geografis maupun sosial serta keluarga. Secara tidak langsung, faktor tersebut memiliki pengaruh yang kuat dalam karakter religius siswa. Oleh karena itu, MTsN 8 Kediri sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam memiliki tanggung jawab yang penting. Pendidikan yang dilakukan yaitu dengan menggunakan strategi guru PAI melalui kegiatan keagamaan membentuk karakter religius, kepribadian dan kebiasaan perilaku siswa.
Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, rumusan masalah yang dikaji peneliti adalah sebagai berikut : 1) Bagaimana strategi guru PAI dalam membentuk karakter religius siswa di MTsN 8 Kediri? 2) Bagaimana implementasi strategi guru PAI dalam rangka membentuk karakter religius siswa di MTsN 8 Kediri? 3) Bagaimana hasil karakter religius siswa yang terbentuk melalui kegiatan keagamaan di MTsN 8 Kediri? yang memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui strategi guru PAI dalam membentuk karakter religius siswa melalui kegiatan keagamaan disertai dengan hasilnya.
Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan kata-kata tertulis atau lisan dari narasumber yang diamati. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, model data, penarikan kesimpulan dan triangulasi.
Hasil penelitian strategi guru PAI dalam membentuk karakter religius siswa melalui kegiatan keagamaan di MTsN 8 Kediri sebagai berikut: 1) Guru PAI menggunakan power strategi, persuasive strategi, normative re-eduction, 2) Implementasi strategi tersebut menggunakan metode hiwar, kisah, amtsal, keteladanan, ibrah atau mau’idzah, targhib dan tarhib, nasehat serta pembiasaan melalui kegiatan keagamaan seperti membaca juz' amma, membaca yasin, membaca asmaul husna dan nadzom aqidatul awam, sholat dhuhur, dhuha, tahajud berjamaah, infaq harian dan lain sebagainya, 3) Implementasi strategi guru PAI memenuhi lima dimensi keberagamaan yaitu keyakinan, ritual, pengalaman, pengamalan, intelektual serta nilai-nilai karakter religius yang didapat secara umum adalah nilai ilahiyah dan insaniyah.
ENGLISH:
This research is conducted under two significant environmental factors, both geographical and social and family. Indirectly, these factors have a strong influence on the religious character of students. Therefore, MTsN 8 Kediri as an Islamic educational institution has important responsibilities. Education is carried out by using PAI teacher strategies through religious activities to construct religious character, personality, and the habits of the students.
According to the background above, the formulation of the problems studied by researcher is as follows: 1) What is the PAI teacher's strategy in shaping the religious character of students in MTsN 8 Kediri? 2) How is the implementation of the PAI teacher strategy in order to shape the religious character of students in MTsN 8 Kediri? 3) What are the results of students' religious character formed through religious activities at MTsN 8 Kediri? The formulation of the problem aims to determine the PAI teacher's strategy in shaping students' religious character through religious activities accompanied by the results.
Researcher used a qualitative descriptive approach with written or spoken words from the observers. Data collection techniques used by researchers are interviews, observation and documentation. Analysis of the data used in this research is data reduction, data models, drawing conclusions and triangulation.
The results of the PAI teacher's strategy in shaping students' religious character through religious activities in MTsN 8 Kediri research are as follows: 1) PAI teachers use power strategies, persuasive strategies, and normative re-eduction, 2) Implementation of these strategies uses the hiwar method, stories, amtsal, exemplary , ibrah or mau'idzah, targhib and tarhib, advice and habituation through religious activities such as reading juz 'amma, reading yasin, reading asmaul husna and nadzom aqidatul awam, prayer dhuhur, duha, tahajud in congregation, daily charity, and others, 3) The implementation of the PAI teacher strategy fulfills five dimensions of diversity, namely beliefs, rituals, experiences, practices. While intellectuals and religious character values that are generally obtained are divine and human values.
