Abstract
INDONESIA:
Dengan mengambil issue bahwa Indonesia merupakan negara maritime yang pastinya mempunyai banyak kekayaan laut didalamnya, tidak terkecuali di daerah Kabupaten Malang yang tidak begitu tersorot. Oleh karena itu, adanya perancangan berupa Malangh Aquarium Center ini adalah bentuk syukur kita sebagai makhluk Allah SWT dengan fasilitas edukasi didalamnya yang bertujuan untuk menambah wawasan bagi pengunjung akan pentingnya menjaga ekosistem laut sehingga dapat menjadi solusi adanya permasalah ini.
Malang Aquarium Center menjadi ruang publik yang mewadahi kegiatan rekreatif dan edukatif didukung oleh kota Malang yang merupakan kota pariwisata dan juga letak zonasi yang berdampingan dengan zona Pendidikan.
Adapun pendekatan Arsitektur Biomorfik yang digunakan dalam Perancangan ini mengacu kepada hewan Penyu yang dipilih karena mempunyai tempat singgah/bertelur di desa Rowotrate, Sumbermanjing, Malang. Penerapan Arsitektur Biomorfik diambil dari bentuk tempurung penyu yang bersifat melindungi sebagai atap, gerak renang penyu sebagai bentuk badan bangunan, sistem pencernaan penyu sebagai sirkulasi dan juga tata letak ruang, dan juga siklus hidup penyu sebagai konsep ruang vertikal.

By taking the issue that Indonesia is a maritime country that certainly has a lot of marine wealth in it, not least in the Malang Regency area which is not so highlighted. Therefore, the design in the form of an Aquarium Center is a form of gratitude for us as creatures of Allah SWT with educational facilities in it which aims
to add insight for visitors about the importance of maintaining the marine ecosystem so that it can be a solution to this problem.
Malang Aquarium Center is a public space that accommodates recreational and educational activities supported by the city of Malang which is a tourism city and also the location of the zoning adjoining the Education zone.
The Biomorphic Architecture approach used in this design refers to the turtle animal which was chosen because it has a shelter/laying place in Rowotrate village, Sumbermanjing, Malang. The application of Biomorphic Architecture is taken from the shape of the turtle shell which is protective as a roof, the swimming motion of the turtle as the shape of the body of the building, the digestive system of the turtle as circulation and also the spatial layout, and also the turtle life cycle as the concept of vertical space.
