Perancangan Bekasi Cultural Park dengan Pendekatan Critical Regionalism

مدينة بيكاسي هي إحدى مدن محافظة جاوة الغربية بإندونيسيا. يأتي اسم بيكاسي من كلمة باغاساسي التي تعني اسم النهر الذي يمر عبر هذه المدينة ، وهو كاندراباجا الذي كتب في نقش توغو في عصر مملكة تارومانيجارا.

ABSTRACT:

Bekasi City is one of the cities in the province of West Java, Indonesia. The name Bekasi comes from the word bagasasi which means the name of the river that passes through this city, namely candrabaga which was written in the era of the Tarumanegara Kingdom Tugu Monument Inscription.

The loss of cultural roots is the main problem with the issue of cultural conservation in Bekasi City. In the process of restoring lost cultural roots and bringing out the identity of Bekasi City, in 2017 the Bekasi City Cultural Arts and Tourism Development Team has the desire to form a cultural enclave centered on the Bekasi multipurpose field, east of Bekasi City. Apart from the issue of cultural conservation, Bekasi City has problems related to city parks. The residents of Bekasi City complain about the lack of parks as recreational spaces.

Along with the issue of cultural conservation and the lack of city parks, the approach used in the Bekasi Cultural Park Design is the Crititcal Regionalism approach. The Crititcal Regionalism approach is a theory about buildings that on the one hand accepts the potential role of modern architecture to free architecture from various constraints but opposes being completely absorbed in the modern consumption and production system.

ABSTRAK:

Kota Bekasi merupakan salah satu kota yang berada di provinsi Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Nama Bekasi berasal dari kata bagasasi yang artinya adalah nama sungai yang melewati kota ini yaitu candrabaga yang tertulis di dalam Prasasti Tugu era Kerajaan Tarumanegara.

Hilangnya akar budaya menjadi permasalahan utama terhadap isu konservasi budaya yang ada di Kota Bekasi. Dalam proses mengembalikan akar budaya yang hilang dan memunculkan identitas Kota Bekasi, di tahun 2017 tim perumusan pengembangan seni budaya dan pariwisata Kota Bekasi mempunyai keinginan membentuk kantong budaya yang berpusat di lapangan multiguna bekasi timur Kota Bekasi. Selain isu konservasi budaya, Kota Bekasi memiliki permasalahan terkait taman kota. Warga Kota Bekasi mengeluhkan kurangnya keberadaan taman sebagai ruang rekreasi.

Seiring dengan isu konservasi budaya dan kurangnya taman kota, maka pendekatan yang digunakan dalam Perancangan Bekasi Cultural Park adalah pendekatan Crititcal Regionalism. Pendekatan Crititcal Regionalism suatu teori tentang bangunan yang di satu sisi menerima peran potensial arsitektur modern untuk membebaskan arsitektur dari berbagai kungkungan tapi menentang untuk sepenuhnya terserap dalam sistem konsumsi dan produksi modern.
