Abstract
INDONESIA:
Perkembangan zaman yang ada sekarang ini tidak lepas dari globalisasi. Globalisasi yaitu sebuah istilah yang memiliki hubungan dengan peningkatan keterkaitan dan ketergantungan antarmanusia maupun antarbangsa. Hal ini dapat memberi dampak positif maupun negatif. Salah satu dampak negatif yang terlihat nyata yaitu lunturnya rasa solidaritas dan kepeduliaan terhadap sesama. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan yaitu dengan mengajarkan nilai-nilai karakter disebuah sekolah terutama karakter peduli sosial. Dengan demikian perlu dikembangkan pendidikan karakter peduli sosial melalui pembelajaran keagamaan, diantaranya dalam pengimplementasiannya yaitu adanya kegiatan infaq dan shadaqah disekolah. Salah satunya yaitu MA Unggulan Nurul Islam Jember yang telah mengaplikasikan kegiatan infaq dan shadaqah untuk membentuk karakter peduli sosial peserta didik.
Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk membahas implementasi kegiatan infaq dan shadaqah dalam membentuk karakter peduli sosial siswa di MA Unggulan Nurul Islam Jember, dengan fokus penelitian : (1) proses kegiatan infaq dan shadaqah pada siswa di MA Unggulan Nurul Islam Jember, (2) distribusi hasil infaq dan shadaqah siswa di MA Unggulan Nurul Islam, (3) hasil dari kegaiatan infaq dan shadaqah terhadap pembentukan karakter peduli sosial siswa di MA Unggulan Nurul Islam Jember.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research). Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi sedangkan analisis data menggunakan reduksi dan teknik pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan metode triangulasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) kegiatan infaq dan shadaqah siswa MA Unggulan Nurul Islam Jember dilakukan setiap hari Jum‟at pagi dan dikoordinir oleh anggota OSIM dibawah pengawasan kesiswaan langsung kemudian hasilnya ditabung pada bendahara sekolah. (2) Hasil infaq dan shadaqah didistribusikan untuk membantu siswa dan wali siswa yang membutuhkan bantuan serta untuk membantu korban bencana alam. (3) Adanya kegiatan infaq dan shadaqah siswa disekolah dapat membentuk karakter peduli sosial siswa berupa sikap saling tolong menolong, peduli terhadap orang lain, menolong orang lain yang membutuhkan serta memiliki sifat empati terhadap orang lain.
ENGLISH:
The development of the present era can‟t be separated from globalization. Globalization is a term that has a relationship with the interconnection and dependence between humans dan between nations. This can have both positive and negative effects. One negative impact that is seen is the fading of solidarity and caring for others. One effort that can be done is to teach character values in a school, especially social care characters.Thus it is necessary to develop social care character education through religious learning, one of which is the implementation of infaq and shadaqah activities at school. One of them is MA Unggulan Nurul Islam Jember who has applied infaq and shadaqah activities to shape the students' social care character.
The focus of this study is to discuss the implementation of infaq and shadaqah activities in shaping the social care character of students at MA Unggulan Nurul Islam Jember, with the focus of research: (1) the process of activity infaq and shadaqah on students at MA Unggulan Nurul Islam Jember, (2)
distribution of results infaq and shadaqah students at MA Unggulan Nurul Islam, (3) the results of the activities of infaq and shadaqah on the formation of students' social care characters at MA Unggulan Nurul Islam Jember.
This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of field research. Data collection techniques are by means of observation, interviews, and documentation while data analysis uses reduction and data validity checking techniques using triangulation methods.
The results of the study show that: (1) infaq and shadaqah activities of MA Unggulan Nurul Islam Jember are conducted every Friday morning and are coordinated by OSIM members under direct student supervision then the results are saved at the school treasurer.(2) The infaq and shadaqah results are distributed to help students and guardians of students who need help and to help victims of natural disasters. (3) The existence of infaq and shadaqah activities at school can form the social care character of students in the form of mutual help to help, care for others, help the others who are in need and have an empathy for others.
